Honestly, I felt a little nutty paying $30 for a pair of tweezers. But the reviews were good and the manufacturer respected...and I've bought more than a few pairs of tweezers in drugstores, none of which could ever grab the tiniest hairs, and all of which have eventually been discarded.
These tweezers do the job! Wow. I use them with a small magnifying mirror, and I can get damn near any hair, no matter how small. Just try not to go overboard and pluck too much...these tweezers are so amazing, it can be tempting to go overboard!
TIP: If you have a stubborn hair that just doesn't seem to want to come out: FIRST, make sure you are pulling in the direction the hair is growing and THEN try grabbing the hair with the middle of the flat side of the tweezers (not the tip) - virtually any hair, no matter how small or how stubborn, will come right out.
I liked these tweezers so much that I am buying them for other people as (expensive) stocking stuffers this year.

Fantastic precision tweezer - grabs the tiniest of hairs and leaves the skin intact. I've had several of these combination tweezers from Rubis and Mehaz Rubis (the parent company that now owns Rubis) over the years. My Mehaz Rubis combination tweezers are even sharper, thinner and more precise than the Rubis tweezers of the same style. The Mehaz Rubis tweezers also have "swiss cheese" holes on one side of the tweezer to aid with grip. If the tweezer drops and the point gets damaged (hence my need for several tweezers over the years), Mehaz offers lifetime repair and sharpening for $3.00 each. Just send it in to the Mehaz Service Center (1-800-669-3555) and expect it back as good as new in a couple of weeks. It is good to have a couple of these tweezers so that if one needs repair (as is bound to happen), you have another as backup. Great investment and a world apart from anything you can buy in your local drugstore!

This is one of the best grooming products that I've ever owned. My facial hair tends to get ingrown in certain places, and the sharp point pulls up the hair while the flat edge grabs the hair so that I can pull it out. I have used these tweezers for nearly a year - the point is still sharp and the flat edges still seat perfectly against each other so that the hairs don't slip out when I pull. I thought these were a bit pricey when I got them, but it's a product that is satisfyingly well made and worth the money.Customer Review: I'm impressed

These tweezers work very well. I'm impressed. They pull even the finest hair from a follicle. My boyfriend has ingrown hairs on his face and it removes them with minimal amount of pain leaving his face much more smooth and kissable!!!!!!! You might scoff at the price, but believe me you're getting your money's worth. I have spent double this price on different tweezers over the years only to add them to the tweezer-graveyard where all worthless tweezers end up.Customer Review: Very Good . . . for a while

Excellent tweezers until they stop grabbing the hair. I've only had them for two years and after the first year they started losing the grip on the hairs - very frustrating. Now they are useless and I'm looking for better tweezers from another manufacturer. I don't mind paying $30 or more for a pair of tweezers but they need to last and these did not.
