Plastic hits head band when moving lens up and down over eyes. Light switch on one side is now not making a good connection and light flickers on and off and now will not even stay on. Other side light switch does not have this problem. Batteries seem to last a long time though. I can fix the switch, but haven't yet. The lenses are plastic but work okay, but I would not recommend using for long periods of time, as the low quality of lens will hurt your eyes and give you a headache. Good for short work, but anything longer, get glass lenses that are optically correct (read more, much more money).Customer Review: Chinneese garbage

For the pric, i thought they were something at least usable, but after lookink closely, i understood i was wrong. First, the item was used when i arrived it had marks of batteries in the lights and the construction was poor quality as most chinneese items. The lens are also awful, the distortion is great, enormous in fact. The 4x lens are unusable and the 2x nearly that.
Go for an optivisor or for this Optical Industries Magnifying Visor for just 10 dollars.

To someone like myself I am new to an item like this, but this item's magnification are weak even though I use both pairs of lens (I use the pair of Opti Visor at college at x8 magnification, I like those better - Much better). In Addition, if you wear glasses than they will get in the way of the flip lens. The Flat surfaces that makes contact to the battery's + and - is so thin, a slight bend of it will cause it to snap off.
It is an okay item, but considering any forethought whoever designed it, it is more of a child's toy.

They definitely get the job done, but the construction and material could be a little better.
I like how it has the main magnification lenses, then an additional set that folds down and clips in place and then a final 3rd single eye piece that rolls over into place for even further magnification.
I bought these for working on electronics, but found many other uses for them, like getting thorns or splinters out of my sons skin. The best thing is that you don't have to hold them, you wear them.

Excellent product, love it! Great for our miniature painting hobby.
Adjustable velcro strap to fit everyone. Set magnifying lens, plus flip down magnifying lens for even more zoom... plus jewelers optical monocle if you really want to get up close and personal. Plenty of room under the visor allows me to comfortably wear my regular glasses as well. Very nice product, exactly what I needed... already plan on picking up a second one for my wife.
