it gives a instant zing, good flavor. The downside is
the buzz wears off quickly. I suggest after chewing the gum drink pepsi one [ no calories, most caffeine of any drink period.] with a lemon twist,and a dash of ground cinnamon or bark. I'm not kidding studies by Harvard and AMA shows "lemon juice and honey breaks up congeston and

So after trying Jolt gum, I decided to try Stay Alert, which has double the caffeine per piece. It helps me get through my night shifts as an RN and my day shifts with my active 2 year old. It is an effective product and much cheaper and low-cal than drinking coffee and it won't stain your teeth. What's not to love? Quick answer: the taste. But you get used to it after awhile. I have let friends try it and they all agree: it tastes like crap. But it works.Customer Review: Stay Alert

at first i thought there was no caffeine effect but then me and my friend started some studies on different caffeine sources including this. I chewed one at 5 am after 4 hrs of sleep and was not jittery or spiked or wired or anything like that but was similar to what this says ... alert. I felt just more awake to do what i need but it wasn't like an adrenaline rush that some of the pills can give you. Great product and good flavor.Customer Review: Better than coffee.....

This is an awesome product, especially for those of us who cannot drink coffee. Within minutes of chewing this gum, I felt fully awake and alert. The taste isn't the greatest, but the work around for that is to mix it in with a similar tasting regular gum. My preference is the Artic mint, add a piece of the Extra peppermint chewing gum and you can't taste the bitterness of the Stay Alert at all!!Customer Review: Just what I needed

I work in a busy veterinary specialty center and don't always have the time for a cup of coffee. I tried the Arctic Mint one afternoon when I thought I wouldn't be able to keep my eyes open another minute. I was pleasantly surprised - my fatigue completely dissappeared. I like the taste of the Arctic Mint. I am completely sold on this product.
