Customer Review: Careful, can be a menace to your ears.

When I recieved this I immediately filled it with water and stuck it in my ears. Now I have either ear infections or swollen tender ears from the trauma. I should have wiped the tips down with alcohol first and not stuck it into my ears. Some people might call what I did moronic, but I prefer absent minded. The review here by Michael Fields helpfully explains how to use this, as told to him by his doctor.
I find it a bit large and unwieldy for self use, but not having to actually stick it inside the ear might help. It was difficult to control the pressure because of the awkwardness of self use and it seems to be able to produce enough force to possibly damage the inside of the ears. As far as the unit itself it is sturdy, and sucks up water and squirts it out like it is supposed to. For the price it is very good quality, no complaints there.

The product unfortunately came in an open cardboard box from Pakistan and it clearly banged around a bit during transport. It placed a series of dents on the tube which makes it somewhat hard to use the full range of the plunger. It still works and much more control is needed, but could have been avoided if some styrofoam or air bags were used.

This is a full-on professional ear blaster, just like the ones the nurses use at your doctor's office. You still have to use one of the products designed to loosen the ear wax but once you've done that this device will give you all the water pressure you need to dislodge the wax.Customer Review: Ear syringe
