Bought this scale about a year ago. This has been a wonderful product, until I was no longer able to set my scale at an accurate reading. The dial where you set it seemed to separate from the center knob..It will not turn and it seems broken. I bought this scale because I was sick and tired of replacing batteries in the digital scales. A very durable and reliable scale built to last, even suitable for use in a doctor's surgery. It measures in pounds(outside black measuring scale up to 350lb in 1llb graduations) and kilograms(inside red measuring scale up to 160kg in 1/2kg graduations). There also a wheel for adjusting zero errors. Dimensions: L=18inches by W=13.25inches. Premium quality build.Customer Review: Worthless

One I got the scale out of the box it was showing 20 pounds under weight. I adjusted to the needle but would only go further under weight and wouldn't point to zero. I figured it would be fine, I'd just add the negative weight. When I got on the scale the needle went in the opposit direction to the numbers listed. We replaced a digital scale with this product. We had to weigh ourselves 3 times with the digital scale (one with body-fat measurement and other features) before we were certain that we had the right weight. With the Salter it's one time and we're ready to go. The large dial is easy to see and the overall quality is excellent.Customer Review: So far, very good

I have had several scales over the years. All types. All unreliable. I really wanted a reliable one. So far, I am very pleased with this product. It is within one pound of my doctor's scale. Wehn you step on it a few times, the reading is always the same. The numbers aren't as large as I expected, but quite readable.
