I used this scale to weigh my baby while breastfeeding. My baby was having trouble gaining weight. This scale is very accurate (same as doctors). I still use it daily just to see how many ounces of milk my baby is getting. I wish I would have bought it SOONER instead of worrying myself to death not to mention the cost of Dr. appointments each week. This scale is much better than the ones at babies r us. It was delivered to my door in 2 days...easy to use...affordable...and converts to a cute toddler scale, too.Customer Review: Hard to get readings sometimes

I use this scale to weigh my newborn puppies. While the cradle is fairly decently sized, I have difficulty getting readings when the pups are moving, the numbers jump back and forth. The hold button does NOT take an average of the weight- it only freezes the weight on the monitor for a few moments- which is only useful if you press it at the exact correct moment. Overall decent scale if you are looking for an overall weight on a child or small pet, not as great if you are looking for detailed ounce weights.Customer Review: good scale

I bought this scale for my cats. One is sick and is at risk for losing weight. Instead of the stress of taking him to the vet for simple weight checks, I can now weigh him every day at home. This scale measures in kg or lbs and includes ounces which is important with a small animal. I put a piece of sticky mat (the rubbery rolls you can buy at WalMart, Target, etc in the shelf liner dept) in the cradle so the cat wouldn't slip and slide which can confuse the scale. Very well designed and solid scale. I tested this to within 1/4 ounce accuracy (multiple weighings over time then averaging results). I throw a blanket on the scale and turn it on and it auto calibrates zero weight. I then put the baby on it. Even when the baby has the diaper and you don't feel like taking it off, you can weigh the diaper separately with great accuracy ( try two or three weighings if you want it within 1/4 ounce ) and then subtract the diaper weight. We've been using this scale for a while now, and it works great.
The cute looks makes it easy to use with kids and it's simple to operated. Having both kg an lb units is definitely a plus that nicely complements the very good accuracy of this item.
Used either as a scale you can stand on or a scale with a basket where a baby can be placed. It is easy to place on or remove the basket from the scale.
A good item that I recommend to anyone looking for a scale.
