I was first exposed to this about 6 years ago while visiting my friends in Mexico. When I first saw it, I was skeptical and even thinking..."What the hell is this?" I tried it once and I can't imagine taking a shower without one now.
If you never tried one, it will be rough at first (especially if you shower using just a bare soap bar or a face towel). But give it a chance, break it in and you'll never use anything else. I'm surprised that these haven't caught on yet.

I have a very dry back that flakes a lot skin. Having arthritis in one shoulder really hinders my ability to reach everwher I need to. I was lucky enough to have a friend recommend looking on Amazon to locate one of these long scrubbing towels to do my back. A great accessory for the general purpose of exfoliation of your skin. I use it everywhere on my body, and have found it to be a very thorough cleaning cloth, and would highly recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: A Luffa Towel!

I LOVE this luffa towel. It feels good and it's really easy to reach my back and scrub. I thought it was going to be made out of some other material but it seems to be a very well made luffa towel. It lathers quickly and rinses just as fast. It also drys very quickly. Next time I'm going to get the rest of my family one. It's just really that good. It's so much easier to hold and you don't have to worry about it unfurling like the luffa sponge.Customer Review: Stellar washcloth alternative!

Having been given an earlier version of this product by a Japanese woman in Hawaii in 1988, I was delighted to discover this product available now. These "towels" make the smelly, soapy washcloth obsolete. They foam well with soap, then rinse clear. They really scrub the skin, doing the exfoliating that leaves skin soft and smooth. The long length facilitates back-scrubbing and foot-cleaning. Try one and you won't go back to using washcloths.Customer Review: Salon bath towel is great!

I've used a nylon scrubbie for years. The Salux bath towel is much better! I received it as a gift from someone who had one and knew how wonderful it was. It has a fairly rough texture which is a fantastic exfoliator. I use it with a bath gel (never soap, it's too drying) and my skin has never been softer. It's extra long length makes it perfect for getting your entire back. It drys very quickly - Can't live without it!
