There are much better shaver's than this one. It was painful to use and does a poor job of shaving. One big benefit of an electric shaver is that it gives a fast shave. Not this one. It required going over the same locations several times and it really hurt because it tended to pull hair out rather than cut them. Charging is about 5 minutes. An OK shaver for your office if you are planning on meeting people after work.
The Panasonic for a little more money is worlds apart in performance and comfort from this fellow.

Sanyo has combined their leading edge rechargeable battery technology with an array of impressive shaver features to create the fastest recharging men's wet/dry shaver. Great for guys on the go, absent-minded rechargers and frequent travelers this stylish unit will recharge using the supplied 4 Ni-Cd batteries in just 1 minute for what is the average shave of 3 minutes. In just 9 minutes it will recharge for a week of shaving (7 days x 3 minute shave). No need to worry if you are traveling internationally as the multi-voltage charging system automatically senses from 100V - 240V (Type A plug provided, adaptor for other electrical outlets not included). You won't be concerned about power with this unit as the high torque 4.8V motor speeds on the high position at 10,000 RPM or in the low position at 8,000 RPM to provide a close, smooth shave. All types of shaving and trimming can be accomplished with the quadruple blade system that includes two foils, a slot trimmer, and an integrated slide-up trimmer. Shave in the shower or touch up before the business dinner with the versatile wet/dry shaving capabilities. Beeps indicate and the LED indicator lights when charging is started, finished and when the battery is low.
