Customer Review: Nice electric wet/dry shaver, but....

This shaver works great, recharges really fast, but.... Whoever designed the placement of the off/on switch was a Sadist! It is positioned exactly where the thumb on a typical American male's hand comfortably rests. That means you will continually hit it and accidently turn the shaver off, often resulting in pulling out a whisker rather than clipping it. What a truly DUMB place to put the power button! Other than that, it's a fine shaver. Recharges VERY quickly, and does a nice job shaving off whiskers. It's a little loud, but hey, it's an ELECTRIC RAZOR! They make noise! I use it in the shower so noise is not a factor, and it does the job nicely (except for that damned off/on button location!).Customer Review: Not bad, not bad at all...

The first time I started the Sanyo SV-RX10 I was surprised by how loud it was and started thinking about returning it. However, I have learned in the past not to pass judgments too fast so I've tried it for a few more days. I discovered that shaving with some shaving foam while showering provides the BEST and CLOSEST shave I ever got from a mechanized shaver - this kind or rotary... I would even hazard the statement that under the above-mentioned conditions it's almost as good as a razor!
I'm glad I didn't return it and I'm thrilled with its performance (as is my wife...).
And I don't even mind the loud noise any longer - well... almost don't mind it - that's why it's only a 4 stars item.

There are much better shaver's than this one. It was painful to use and does a poor job of shaving. One big benefit of an electric shaver is that it gives a fast shave. Not this one. It required going over the same locations several times and it really hurt because it tended to pull hair out rather than cut them. Charging is about 5 minutes. An OK shaver for your office if you are planning on meeting people after work.
The Panasonic for a little more money is worlds apart in performance and comfort from this fellow.

The shaver is compact, quick charging and efficient however I experienced a big problem in that it wasn't very good at shaving the hair around my mouth, upper lip and chin Neck etc was very quick and through. However, it took a lot of effort to get the hair around the upper lip and actually caused some nasty breakouts. I've been using the thing about 2 months and no matter what I do--the breakouts reoccur and it's mostly due to the extra effort required to get a good shave on the upper lip.Customer Review: This Is A Great Razor!

I purchased this razor when my 3rd Braun 7000 Series quit. This great razor has me wondering, "Why isn't this thing famous or at least a household name?" The blades and head have held up twice as long as any other foil shaver I've owned. Cleaning is a snap - wet or dry. Charging takes 10 minutes tops and it -is- fully charged. It's a gem, a genuine excellent razor overlooked by too many.
