I am an all natural promoter. I was excited to find detergent that did not release harmful, hormone confusing chemicals in my home. But unfortunately, this product does not work well. I bought a case of six in my zeal and have not been happy repeatedly. I am having to re-wash a third of my dishes by hand. If you "wash" your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher this product will work for you, but if you are a person who thinks your dishwasher should be able to clean your dishes after you rinse them off you will be disappointed. I think this is the best dishwasher gel I have found. Since I used to get it at the grocery store and they no longer carry it, I was without for sometime. I am 80 yrs. old and have been using a dishwasher since 1964 and nothing beats this. It is also great in hard water and doesn't leave calcium deposit inside the dishwasher. Glad to have it back in my kitchen.

Every time I run my dishwasher with one of the major brands, my son has an asthma attack. First, I tried the Seventh Generation powdered dishwasher detergent. My son didn't have asthma attacks with it, but it etched my plastics badly. Then I tried the Lemon gel. It does not cause my son to have asthma attacks and it doesn't etch my plastics. I am very glad that I am not having to hand wash all of my plastics. I give it a thumbs up! I have recently started using the Seventh Generation Laundry detergent, and I like that, too.Customer Review: Works great if used right

I have used tablets for years. After a shape change they started not releasing from the soap holder.
Switching to this I have found my dishsed to come out much cleaner.
I have not had the film problem others talk about but then I don't completely fill up the cup and I don't fill a pre-wash cup. Where I live the water is soft and I always rinse my dishes well before putting them in the dishwasher.
I have used a variety of Seveth Generation products and have always been pleased.

I hesitated over the "order now" button for quite a while, but finally pushed it. I'm so glad I did! The product works as well as any commercial product out there. The cost is comparable. And I didn't have to leave this seat to acquire it. BONUS!
Lugging those big, heavy, bulky items from my local discount store home ever month is not my idea of a good time. Answering the door for UPS, however, is much more pleasant.
Helping the environment and helping myself. Nothing better than that.
