If you want fuzzy soft toilet paper, these may not be for you, but I find the texture and quality to be just fine. The fuzzy soft brands create lots of paper dust in the bathroom; these don't.When comparing the cost of these rolls to others, be sure to note that these are 500-sheet rolls -- so you're getting two-thirds more sheets than in a 300-sheet roll.
So, why not help out the environment by using a brand that doesn't send chlorine bleach into the rivers when they make their paper?

We have a big, old Whole Foods here in town, that for some reason only carries this brand (Seventh Generation) but not the other brand of "green" toilet paper that we like. I've bought these a couple of times and regretted it on each occasion. This brand is both flimsy and rough, and the rolls are packed extremely loosely -- you're not getting a lot of paper for your money. I'd use this paper in a pinch (sorry, couldn't resist the pun) but I have often gone out of my way to avoid buying it.Customer Review: Its just toilet paper - an easy way to make a little difference

No it isn't soft. It doesn't create the ultimate experience in bathroom luxury. But it makes me feel better to use eco friendly disposable products than to have a cushy soft wipe. I mean, really, its not like I spend my day thinking about how nice it will be to use a nice fluffy double thick tissue on my next trip to the loo. Its just toilet paper, a utilitarian neccessity in this part of the world. Let's not be so spoiled that we think we have to be pampered EVERY minute of the day!Customer Review: Disappointed

I usually love this order. A huge box arrives and I can stock all the bathrooms and forget about it for a few months. This time the toilet paper was a lesser quality. The 2 ply keeps splitting and we are wasting toilet paper trying to resolve it or having the 1 ply which we didn't pay for. The order is disappointing and I'll only give it one more try - as it's so many rolls it takes a long time to go through it. To the point, I really like this bathroom tissue though I havent been as pleased with all Seventh Gen products.
I have sensitive skin and formerly would use only Charmin with Aloe, but I find this tissue at an acceptable comfort level.. enough that it's the only tissue I buy now.
It's comfortable, environment friendly and actually flushes better in low water tanks then any tissue I've used.
I would recommend this tissue to anyone.
