Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue, 2-Ply Sheets, 500-Sheet Rolls (Pack of 48)

Customer Review: Well, it is good for the environment
Summary: 3 Stars

I confess I'm a Northern Quilted toliet paper fan. I ordered this to be enviromentally friendly (EF) and was enticed by the coupon. It is as another reviewer noted, rough on the "quilted" side, but soft on the smooth side. I will likely order more, but when company visits, I will revert back to Northern. This product's texture is quite similar to the inexpensive paper used in public restroom facilities. Also I find I use more, so I may be be as "EF" as I had hoped.

Customer Review: Not the 7th Gen product I'm used to buying retail
Summary: 1 Stars

This will teach me to ALWAYS read the reviews for even the simplest product. Turns out, this is not the same quality TP sold in 12-roll packages at the grocery store. This paper is "unquilted" and rough. Now I'm stuck with 48 rolls of abrasive toilet paper -- not the best situation after childbirth. Product description should be more specific to differentiate it from the other 2-ply TP offered by Seventh Gen. Very disappointed and won't be ordering again.

Customer Review: It works. What else can you say?
Summary: 5 Stars

Great product that for anyone. This is no flimsy tissue that falls apart upon use and does not feel like sandpaper. As good as brand names that use virgin hardwood from old growth forests. And they are great for the the environment. These are great compared to brandnames which have regular rolls around 260 sheets or double rolls but are only 400 or 450 sheets. These are 500 sheets and comparable in price. I would recommend anyone give them a try.

Customer Review: Do not bother....
Summary: 1 Stars

Since it is environmentally friendly, I did not mind paying a bit more for this product than conventional toilet papers. I also anticipated difference in the quality since it is made of recycled paper. However, it is too rough for my family to use. It feels same as cheap toilet paper you use in the public bathrooms. I am also concened abouth plugging up the drain because it does not seem to disolving very well. I will not purchase this product again.

Customer Review: feels softer than it looks
Summary: 4 Stars

As most everyone has already said, this doesn't look like the most comfortable toilet paper. I like Cottonelle myself, but 7th Generation is so much better for the planet. I find it's soft factor to be acceptable. Not the greatest, but acceptable to make the switch. I have also discovered that a roll lasts longer than a double roll of Cottonelle. What I do loathe, however, is that each unit is individually wrapped. What could be more wasteful?
