Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue, 2-Ply Sheets, 500-Sheet Rolls (Pack of 48)Customer Review: Recycled Bath Tissue Summary: 5 Stars
Been buying this recycled bath tissue for years by the case. It makes being green easy!
"If every household in the U.S. replaced just one roll of 500 sheet virgin fiber bathroom tissue with 100% recycled ones, we could save 448,000 trees, 1.1 million cubic feet of landfill space (equal to 1,700 full garbage trucks), and 161 million gallons of water, which is a year's supply for 1,270 families of four!"
Customer Review: Crispy toilet paper! Summary: 2 Stars
Well, it's "green" (recycled) -- But it's not soft! There is another version of this that I understand is sometimes available (and is what we buy in stores), and there are other "green" brands on offer here. The one benefit of this one is that each roll has a lot of sheets. But if you want something that feels more like "American" bathroom tissue, choose one of the other "green" versions to avoid disappointment.
Customer Review: Too thin, too rough for my body. Summary: 2 Stars
I like most of the Seventh Generation products, but I cannot use this toilet paper--it causes itching and irritation for some reason. I have had to go with something else. I also, like another reviewer, do not put out Seventh Generation when I have guests. It truly feels like you are in a gas station in the middle of nowhere. It is also too thin to do the job and that defeats the purpose of using less.
Customer Review: The best toilet tissue on the market Summary: 5 Stars
After years of toilet paper "suffuring" in the USA and bringing it back regularly from Europe I have found THE ONE.
The paper that is soft, does not get attached easily to my private parts, and is strong enought so my fingers will not poke throught when used after bowel movement. I have to admit it is better that most Europian ones. I hope Seventh Generation will not stop producing it! Thanks a lot!
Customer Review: Great Toilet Paper - Bad Packaging Summary: 4 Stars
The toilet paper was fine. Although Seventh Generation has the right idea about reducing plastic waste and excessive packaging, they took it a bit too far. They need to wrap all 48 rolls in a layer of plastic because when it rains and the toilet paper is delivered to your door when you're not home to receive it, the water soaks through the cardboard box and the toilet paper becomes damp and soggy.
