Customer Review: Toilet tissue you can feel good about.

For many years, I have purchased recycled products for myself and my family. I like to use Seventh Generation products because they do what they promise to do and they are good for the environment. Toilet tissue is one of the Seventh Generation products I buy because, while it is good for the environment and it does the job it is meant to do, it is still soft (NOT like tissue paper or newspaper!). Buying a case of the toilet tissue from Amazon saves me money and by being on their regular buying program, it arrives at my door when I need it. The two ply is sturdier than the one ply.
Made the mistake of ordering the one-ply. Got me whacked by 3 women sharing the same house (roll your eyes if you gotta). I figured simply pull out more tissue and make like two-ply. Nope - two ply or the sidewalk. Two ply it is.
You're paying a bit more but you're doing the environment much good saving trees to offset carbon emission. In my book - makes for better stewardship.
We ain't a Charmin household but we'd be curious about the 400 ply if it became available via Amazon.

I bought this TP in an effort to be more environmentally friendly and I give kudos to the company for giving me the opportunity. However, I'm afraid I'm a little pampered when it comes to TP. This product feels basically the same as what you would find in a public restroom. It's acceptable, comparable to Scott tissue in general look/feel/texture. I find myself using a lot more than I do with my regular brand, which is thicker and softer. I'd say it's fine for number 1, but not so great for number 2. So I might keep some around for the bathroom I don't normally poo in :)Customer Review: A really top notch bathroom tissue

This bathroom tissue is much better than I expected. It is as soft as a middle of the pack tissue, with the added benefit of being easy on your conscience. Obviously it's not as soft as velvet, but it's plenty soft to use on noses and on less delicate body parts. We've been using it for about a month and haven't had any problems with the perforations, the wrapping, the thickness or any of the other things you'd be concerned with.
I think the price here is good. I like this tissue so much I'm converting to all sorts of seventh generation products.

This is a small contribution one can make to help out the environment. It is reasonably priced compared to high end TP and it is not as rough as one might expect. I actually think it is much softer than the cheap TP. On the plus side it does not shred easily and there is minimal packaging. I am not ashamed to have our guests use it. If they do not like it, they can feel free to bring their own or use the gas station down the road. I have this on subscribe and save, so I know when to expect my next delivery. It costs 15% less and I appreciate the free delivery.
