Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers, Stage 4 (22-37 Lbs.), 30 Count (Pack of 4)Customer Review: work great, but not good for chubby legs Summary: 4 Stars
love the seventh generation diapers and have been using them for about 6 months since we quit cloth diapering. no leaks or blowouts, and they have a trim fit. i like that the absorbent material isn't disgustingly squishy and gel-like as compared to conventional diapers. my only complaint is that the leg openings are made for skinny babies. my son has really chubby legs and tends to outgrow these well before the upper limit of the weight range (he outgrew the size 3 at 19 pounds and they go up to 28 pounds). so instead of putting him immediately into the size 4s, we switched to the size 3 earth's best tendercare diapers until he outgrew them b/c the unit cost per diaper was cheaper in size 3 EB than size 4 SG, and they're cut more generously.
Customer Review: Newborn Diapers: Not Impressed Summary: 2 Stars
I can't attest to the larger sizes at this point, but the quality of the Newborn size is AWFUL. I will say the blowouts aren't any better than any other diaper I have tried because you just can't help it when your baby has a big poop, BUT the diaper tabs are really tough to grab and tear away from the diaper when you are pulling out a new one. Also, the diaper stays closed when you are changing the baby. So when you are trying to wipe them, it flips up and doesn't lay flat, making it very difficult to keep a diaper under the baby (in case the cold air makes them pee) or to keep from getting poop on your hand when you are trying to wipe them. It's more trouble than it is worth. I have NONE of these problems with the Earth's Best Newborn Diapers.
Customer Review: above the rest Summary: 5 Stars
We started using these diapers when my daughter was a newborn in an attempt to lessen the footprint of disposables. They are great at preventing leaks in the newborn months and continue to stand up to toddler abuse and nighttime soaks.Inevitably I have tried other brands and been very disapointed. These dipes come from a thoughtful company and are hands down....simply the best.By using amazon's subscribe and save program they are only a small fraction more than the mainstream brands-well worth it and with monthly delivery, you never have to worry about running out. One note:it's nice to keep in mind that most kids go up a size two pounds before the max weight on these diapers for comfort and leak prevention. They make a great shower gift too!!!
Customer Review: Helped solve our rash problems--great diapers! Summary: 5 Stars
My son apparently has very sensitive skin and kept developing rashes both across his belly where you fasten diaper and on his bottom. After several trips to the Dr., different cremes, trying every type of diaper and wipe for sensitive skin, we tried the Seventh Generation chlorine-free wipes and also the diapers--problem solved! We still do use some Triple Paste Cream on his bottom, too, if it gets to looking red (best bottom rash cream after trying them all--worth the price!!) The diapers seem rough and scratchy, but they don't bother him, leave a red mark, and don't leak like the Huggies Pure and Natural we tried before these. Plus, great price from Amazon (as always!) and signed up for subscription delivery--LOVE IT!!!
Customer Review: Wonderful Natural Diapers Summary: 5 Stars
I had bought two packages in the store to be sure they would fit before I ordered the big box on Amazon.com. I ordered a size 4 although everyone said they run small, but I found they were actually taller and the tabs stretchier than the normal brand of diapers most of us buy (Pampers Cruisers). I love that there is NO chemical smell and they've pretty much eliminated diaper rash!!! I highly recommend these. They even last all through the night about 90% of the time. I think the other 10% of the time is my wiggly guy or operator error! :) I'm getting ready to order my 2nd big box of these, but I am opting for the larger size since my guy is growing. (FYI--he's 10 months and wearing the size 4's; around 21 pounds or so)
