Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers, Stage 4 (22-37 Lbs.), 30 Count (Pack of 4)Customer Review: trying to be greener Summary: 5 Stars
Having read up on what kinds of problems other customers/consumers have had with these diapers, I decided it was worth the risk and starting ordering these for my youngest. I am happy to say that we have had very little problems at all with Seventh Generation diapers! Also, I only very seldomly notice any kind of silica or other debris from the diapers on my little boy's skin. The instances I can think of off-hand remind me that they had more to do with leaving a diaper on too long than with the diaper itself having a problem. So, the only drawback to be considered, in my opinion, is that they are not absorbent enough for night use, at least not for a boy.
Customer Review: Horrible rash! Summary: 1 Stars
I feel so bad for my sweet toddler. She had been doing fine with Pampers--not a single rash ever. Then I decided to try to go a little green and got her these--and within 2 days she has a horrible bright red rash everywhere. I have no idea why there is a difference but it is unmistakeable in our case. I believe I will donate these diapers and just buy more Pampers.
Plus, honestly, I don't even feel that bad about going back to Pampers because the only improvement that I can see in these is that they don't use bleach. All the other chemicals, gels, etc, are still in there. So, big whoop.
I'm saving my baby's bottom.
Customer Review: Shockingly Absorbant Summary: 4 Stars
I switched to these after I found out what was in disposable diapers. I hate that these diapers are twice the price so we now use mostly organic cloth diapers and only use these when we go out but they are just as absorbant as the Pampers Cruisers and Huggies Supreme diapers we used to use which was surprising to me. Also to note but of little importance is their color, I was used to the colorful cute diapers and these compared to those are very ugly, but definately worth the trade because of less dyes and such. But when I opened them I was a bit shocked at how unappealing they seemed. I do like them now but at first wasn't so happy about that.
Customer Review: Great diaper, no leaks yet Summary: 5 Stars
After using the Pampers w/ Drymax and seeing irritation in our little ones bum, we had to switch. I was scared to try anything else as the Pampers were awesome (fit and leakage protection) but the 7th Generation diapers haven't let us down yet. No leaks and they mysteriously hide the smell much more than the pampers diapers (can be a bad thing for changing promptly if you don't notice right away). The 7th generations have been GREAT. No complaints after using them for four months. Oh, and I don't miss the 'chemical' smell that the Pampers w/ DryMax had. No strange smells w/ the 7th Gens.
It also helps that they're somewhat 'green'.
Customer Review: Love these dipes Summary: 5 Stars
I've used all cloth except for long drives or nights after lots of water. These do the trick. As far as all natural, they are dyed brown. They're still my choice because without the chlorine or scents they don't seem to cause rashes as fast as any other disposable brands we've tried (after 6 kids, I've sampled hundreds from cheapies to other au naturals). They hold more than G-diaper inserts, and the new and improved version over the past couple years is much more compact between the legs. Seventh Generation customer service is actual service, too, if you ever run into a problem - if the diapers leak on your child, they'll take care of you.
