I just bought this at another store just to test out a bottle before committing to a big order of 6 bottles. So far, I like this product a lot, I've been using Dawn, but during the winter I get horrible rash like thing on my forearms from fragrances in different dish detergents. If I switch it up during the winter to a different brand of dish detergent then I will definitely have a flare-up. Anyways, I've been looking into the free and clear products for a few months now, I switched my laundry detergent and fabric softener to free and clear and now my dish detergent. I am NOT disappointed! This product is great, it was just as amazing as Dawn on dishes, it gets the dishes clean and when I say clean I mean SQUEAKY clean. It suds up wonderfully, and you don't have to use a lot for a sink full of dishes. It is on the thin side, but I'm used to Dawn's thickness, so it's not big deal. I am definitely going to buy a case from amazon from now on.Customer Review: Love this product!

I not only love Seventh Generation dishwashing liquid for the way it cleans my pots and pans, but I also recently discovered how nicely it works on other household items. I was doing my Fall cleaning this past September, and I discovered I was out of window cleaner. Having just filled a bucket with dishwashing liquid to clean my counters, I decided to try Seventh Generation on my windows. Well, lo and behold, I could not believe my eyes! My windows gleamed! It left no streaks or residue. And it was so much easier to use as opposed to having to spray each window!
The fact that it is so environmentally safe, non-toxic also makes me feel much better when our little grandchildren go up to the storm doors and place their little fingers and sometimes their mouths on the glass fronts!
I would highly recommend this product over any non-toxic liquid detergents I've purchased in the past.

I have very sensitive skin, and I am allergic to most detergents. I used to have to wear rubber gloves while washing my dishes to keep my skin from breaking out, but since I have tried the Seventh Generation dish liquid, I no longer have to wear heavy rubber gloves when doing the dishes! This is the ONLY dish detergent that I have found that does not cause my skin to break out.
I was not expecting much when I bought this, but I like to try natural products and work on being more environmentally conscious, but most natural cleaning products do not perform as well as those that are loaded with chemicals. I did not notice any difference in the cleanliness of my dishes. It performs as well as other leading brand name dish liquids.
I now only use this dish liquid, even though other brands are cheaper, on sale, etc. I also have recommended it to several friends and family members.

My wife and I have used Seventh Generation dish liquid soap for a little over a year now and we love it. It works great on dishes, smells wonderful, and it's eco-friendly. Additionally, I have also found this soap to be mild on my sensitive skin, and I do not experience red/dry hands after cleaning pots and pans. How can you go wrong?
However, I would like to supply a nugget of information for any potential buyer. I'm not sure why (maybe because of the plant-based ingredients), but if you leave the cap open for periods of time, the soap seems to turn sour...very sour. It will literally smell like something you need to throw out with the trash. Because of this I do not buy this item in bulk. I simply do not use that much at a time to justify having several bottles at one time. I choose to buy one bottle at a time and ensure the cap is properly sealed after each use--no problems since.

This is the best value for chemical free dish soap on Amazon.com. I squirt about a teaspoon into the sink, fill with hot water, and I can wash an entire meal's worth of dishes. This shipment is going to last way longer than the six months we set our subscription up for.
Just be aware that if your dishes are extra greasy or oily, you will need to add more soap to cut through the oils.
Fun fact: Seventh Generation is so named for the Great Law of the Iroquois - which holds appropriate to think seven generations ahead (a couple hundred years into the future) and decide whether the decisions they make today would benefit their children seven generations into the future.
So know that by purchasing these products you are helping contribute not only to a healthier home for you but also for the future of our planet.
