As part of the Vine Program I received a case of this cleaner to use and write a review. I must say I was intrigued at first to smell the product as I'm a clean freak and love the smell of a freshly cleaned home. I was a bit disappointed because it didn't have a fresh, clean scent - more like a basic non-smelling cleanser with a hint of ammonia to it. Other than that this cleaner did a great job of cleaning our mirrors & windows, according to our house cleaner. No streaking either! I gave a few bottles to my family and friends and they were pleased with it as well. No complaints on the clean up part but I do wish the Ruby Grapefruit & Herb scent was more prominent.Customer Review: Pretty good product

With a nice, mild scent, and the power of citrus, Seventh Generation's Glass and Surface cleaner is great for many surfaces in your home. I've used it on windows, baseboards, formica, granite, and porcelain, all with great results and most imporatantly, no streaking. Unlike other cleaners, the fragrance is pleasant and I noticed that my pets don't sneeze when I spray the cleaner, an added bonus for this multiple pet household.
In addition, I used it on the nickel hardware in my shower and managed to erase the water spots that seem to collect there. I'm really happy with the product and keep a spare bottle in my car to clean the windows regularly.

This is an adequate product, not any better than any other general purpose cleaner I've ever used, and most definitely not any worse than any of them. It worked just fine on all home cleaning applications, specifically in the bathroom and in the kitchen. I cleaned toilets, countertops, sinks, and showers/baths with this, and it did a fine job on all. It left no streaks, and worked quickly to dissolve and mobilize stains. I did not use this product on major stains or cleaning challenges, such as a stove or charcoal grill. The scent is a nice, clean scent, slightly citrusy, unique and therefore attractive. At least when you use this mild smelling glass and surface cleaner.
I cleaned the entire bathroom yesterday with this product, and the lightly herbal, grapefruit scent quickly disappeared, even as I used the product. I think that's a GOOD thing. No more holding your breath against ammonia fumes!
As for the cleaning results:
--a nice, streak free shine on the mirrors.
--clean, "hairspray free" countertops.
--sink free from toothpaste splatters.
--wall tiles and other hard surfaces shiny and clean.
I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.

The product works well overall, but it has trouble with more serious grime and mildew. This isn't too surprising considering that it's a natural, eco-friendly product; some messes just seem to call for an industrial solvent! :)
But the product does work well for most day-to-day cleaning jobs. Even better, it's environmentally friendly and smells good. No nasty fumes that leave you gasping for air. Also, some products can be toxic for pets, but this one is okay for use in spaces you share with your four-legged friends.
