I began using this dish liquid about 2 1/2 years ago when my first child was born. I was looking for a soap to wash bottles with as it seemed all of them left a filmy residue and a strong scent. I used this once and was hooked! I use it for all my dishes and have never had a problem with it not doing the job! The fact that it delivered on its claims as well as being environmentally friendly is terrific! It is a little more expensive, but I will never a use a regular petroleum based dish liquid again! I only wish it was available more often on Amazon.com. It seems that whenever I run out it is "unavailable". The price that Amazon has charged in the past is also excellent - I pay double that at local stores.Customer Review: I love this stuff!

I have had a terrible time trying to find a truly fragrance free dish soap. Most have, at the very least, masking fragrances. This soap is utterly fragrance free, which is important to me as I am chemically sensitive. It is a marvel, particularly when compared to other 'sensitive' dish soaps, which aren't effective and produce little or no sudsing action. This soap is sudsy and very effective at cleaning dishes. I have not been able to use Dawn and other commercial dish soaps that claim to cut grease so I really cannot make that comparison. But when put head-to-head against other 'sensitive' dish soaps, Seventh Generation is the clear winner (not to mention competitively priced).

This Item is fantastic, but you have recently and suddenly raised the price over 300% from that prior! Normally, and everywhere else the price is about $28.00 for a case of six 48oz bottles, which comes to about $4.65per bottle, reasonable in all and more so with the free shipping! Yet, recently you have chosen to raise the cost to an utterly astounding and absolutely unjustified $16.50 a bottle, which is either a FRANK MISTAKE, or just plain robbery! This is outrageous, and someone really goofed here and needs to fix this matter or you won't sell a drop! We will all have to find this product from another supplier now, and that's too bad for everyone.

I've come to despise all scented products in the last few years. I don't smell the scent, I smell something else...a strong unpleasant chemical that I can't describe. I smell it in dishwashing liquid, and any fragranced lotions. So every time I washed the dishes, my hands would stink from this chemical. Even washing my hands in vinegar and baking soda could not eliminate it completely. So when my wife found this product I was very happy, and I would gladly pay more for it. It really has no odor and suds up virtually as well as it's commercial competitors. I'm sure the suds don't make for cleaner dishes, but you know...I want to see them.Customer Review: Good stuff

I saw this in the supermarket, and bought it because it was 'Green', which I don't normally do. I'm a single 45 year old man, and now here I am looking for it on line, and writing reviews about dishsoap. It cuts grease for me, no prob. This stuff also stops what I call "sponge-stink". I had been throwing them out after a week or two before this stuff. I just ran out of the 7th Gen, and replaced it with Dawn. (It wasn't on my market shelf any longer.) A week later, my sponge smells again, and this is with their new 'oder-stopping Lime' flavor. I may have to buy a case of this and give it away, just to have more!
