Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Liquid Dish Detergent, Lemongrass & Clementine Zest Scent, 25-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12)

Customer Review: Works and is better for the environment
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been using this product for over a year and have been very happy with its performance. It gets my dishes just as clean as any previous liquid I've used. For really baked-on, stuck-on dishes, I allow them to soak for a few hours (or overnight) and cleaning up with a little scrub sponge is a cinch. Overall, I think it's a great product that is better for the environment as well.

Customer Review: Love the Product! Disappointed With Packaging.
Summary: 4 Stars

I read reviews a lot for the products I purchase on amazon.com, so I thought I'd post one about the Seventh Generation Liquid Dish Soap that I received by UPS today. I had already read about some people's problems with spilled dish soap inside of the package, so I wasn't too surprised when I opened mine to find a soapy mess inside! A couple of the caps had popped open during shipping. It looks like I lost only about 1/4 of a bottle, which isn't too bad. The problem could easily be solved by taping the caps closed before shipping. However, I will point out that the order was double boxed. The small box which contained the bottles was a Seventh Generation box, taped closed, which was packaged inside of a larger amazon.com box with some brown paper to keep it secure. It seems to be more of a problem with Seventh Generation's packaging than amazon.com's, but you'd think they would do something about it to keep their customers happy. Still, Amazon's price is so much better than what I've found in local stores...especially when you account for the free shipping. If the shipping problem bothers you, you may want to buy locally. As far as the effectiveness of the dish soap goes, I find that I have to use a little more soap than when I used brands like Dawn or Joy. However, I'm so much happier with the natural ingredients in Seventh Generation's brand, so it's worth the extra soap and elbow grease!

Customer Review: A TERRIBLE MESS!

Seventh Generation Liquid Dish Detergent, Lemongrass & Clementine Zest Scent, 25-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12)

I HAVE NEVER TRIED THIS DETERGENT, BUT THE BOX CAME TO ME SOAKED WITH SOAP...2 OF THE BOTTLES OPENED AND THERE WAS LIQUID DISH DETERGENT EVERYWHERE. IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO CLEAN UP THE MESS, THE WATER JUST CREATED MORE SOAP, SO I RINSED AND RINSED AND RINSED.

AMAZON....PLEASE REFUND, OR SEND ME TWO NEW BOTTLES, WITH THE LIDS TAPED, PLEASE

Customer Review: Only takes a little
Summary: 5 Stars

I have used 7th generation before, but never this scent before, which I cannot find locally. I love the lemongrass and clementine zest, it's sweet and still fresh. I also love the fact that I don't have to use a ton of liquid to get all my dishes clean - a little goes a long way!

Customer Review: The Best Dish Detergent
Summary: 4 Stars

I absolutely love this stuff. I actually enjoy hand washing dishes plus it makes a good hand soap too.
