I initially purchased this product to use on my daughter's baby clothes and cloth diapers, but now use it for all household laundry. My items are cleaner and brighter from using this product. Stains that would not come out with other cleaners have been removed by this detergent. A great buy - and purchasing through Amazon saves me almost half the shelf price of this item in the North Texas market.Customer Review: Yes, this is 'he' approved!

I was 'taking a chance' with my first order of 4 boxes but have been completely delighted with the results of doing my laundry with Seven Generation Natural Laundry Detergent. I just received my second order of 4 boxes and will never go back to the other brands! I have a front loading Maytag and the product works perfectly. This is one of the better non-perfumed laundry detergents out there. At first my wife was skeptical of its cleaning power because we use less of it than tide but experience has won her over. Plus it dosen't have any of the nasty phosphates that can damage water quality. Also it is made in Canada (of no particular relevance). I like this item and will buy it again, but it isn't good for every load. When I wash my husbands shirts and dress pants I use Woolite because this detergent leaves uneven color streaks on his clothes. I don't seem to have a problem with my other washables, and I think this detergent is great especially for whites and other items I wash in hot water like towels and sheets.Customer Review: seventh generation laundry detergent

I have tried both the powder and liquid Seventh Generation Laundry detergents. Both have bleached color out of clothing items. The first time the company reimbursed me for the cost of the clothes, and told me they were removing the words "color fast" from the product labels (they did). Now that it has happened again I will not be using this product in the future.
