Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Newborn Diapers, (Up To10 Lbs), 40-Count Packages (160 Diapers) (Pack of 4)

Customer Review: Seventh Gen NB diapers
Summary: 2 Stars

The reason I gave these a 2 star rating is that they fit poorly on small newborns; in fact they didn't fit my 6lb 9oz newborn until he was almost 3 weeks old. The leg openings are huge so we were prone to leaks. I ended up needing to use Pampers swaddlers (yuk chlorine!) because at least they fit small babes well.

Customer Review: nice product
Summary: 4 Stars

We stocked up on these before our twins were born since we decided for the first month or so we would use disposable diapers until our preemies grew into their Bum Genius AIO's and we were able to keep up with the laundry. We recieved a ton of newborn diapers (swaddlers) from the hospital and packages of diapers from family and as these are a bit smaller than the 7th Generations we have been using these first. The 7th G diapers are a little bigger and bulkier than the swaddlers, they don't have a cut out for the cord but of course this can be dealt with simply by folding the front of the diaper down in front for that short time. When we have used the 7th G diapers they have worked just fine and I've had no leaking problem which is more than I can say with the other brands I have used and my babies are only 6 pounds right now and they have been ok but will fit better when babies are a tad bigger. As with any diaper, size counts. If your baby has outgrown the diaper size it will leak alot so you will want to follow the sizing chart.

Customer Review: If you love doing laundry this is the diaper for you
Summary: 1 Stars

The worst diaper I have ever used and I have used plenty of different ones. I thought it would be nice to try a more eco-friendly product. But what a HUGE mistake. This diaper leaks constantly. Yesterday alone, I had to change my baby's clothes 7 times. So if your baby is not sensitive to chlorine and can use other diapers this is not the one for you - unless you love doing laundry and/or seeing your baby in many different outfits throughout the day.

Customer Review: Wonderful diaper - no leaks!
Summary: 5 Stars

We switched to Seventh Generation diapers when my little guy started having trouble with eczema on his bum. We are loving Seventh Generation diapers - all signs of eczema are gone! We have no trouble at all with leaks, and it's wonderful to know that there's no harmful chlorine on our babies' skin. I love that they're not branded (I can't stand Elmo, Disney etc. It's so kitsch!) and they have done a great job in keepingour 7 months old baby drier overnight. I highly recommend these! Just make sure you have the right fit, and that they're on right (not folded under at the legs etc) and you should be all set.

Customer Review: yes - leak problems
Summary: 1 Stars

Yes - another confirmation of the leak problem by someone who really wanted these to be good. Washing tons of extra outfits/sheets, etc. per day negates the environmental benefits - not to mention that we now have several packs of diapers that we simply won't be able to use. Did not do the trick for our 6 lb. newborn (and we are experienced diaperers.)
