Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Paper Towels, Natural, 2-Ply Sheets (Pack of 30) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]

Customer Review: LOVE these paper towels!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am SO happy with these paper towels...especially the fact that I can compost them! I use them to wrap produce in and then put them in green bags. I also fold a couple of them in half to put in the plastic clamshells that my organic greens come in. It helps keep the produce fresh for SO long. Once I use the produce, I just let the paper towels dry and then use them again to clean my countertops with a squirt of my all natural cleaner. I love knowing I'm making an impact on the environment, too, and have these on autoship. I guess the only downside, if you can call it that, is that the sheets are a little smaller than what you're used to with your standard, bleached store brand. Also, since they are compostable, they're not filled with rag or other "fillers" that make them more heavy duty...like a scrub cloth; but, I didn't expect that. I think they're a great product!

Customer Review: Not the most absorbant in the world.
Summary: 3 Stars

These could absorb a lot better. They don't really pack much of a punch. Keep trying, 7th Generation.

Customer Review: what green does not mean
Summary: 1 Stars

I am very unhappy with Seventh Generation Paper products. I like that paper products decompose, but I would prefer that the paper starts to decompose after I use it. I have had problems with all of their paper products, especially the napkins. After I used Seventh Generation Napkins at a picnic, my hands and mouth were covered with small pieces of paper. Normally a picnic napkin will last the whole meal. A Seventh Generation napkin will not even survive one wipe. Maybe they accidently switched the toilet paper formula with the napkins. I have decided to stop using all Seventh Generation products to send the message that hiding under the umbrella "green" is not license to produce garbage.

Customer Review: Wish I still used these
Summary: 4 Stars

These are overall great - work well for most uses, can go in your compost bin after use if not used with chemicals, and are recycled. I agree with the reviewer who wishes they were scored like the Brawny towels. I rarely use these now though as we got cloth napkins, and use cloth rags for most cleaning, but if you like the convenience of paper they are very useful.

Customer Review: WORST paper towels
Summary: 1 Stars

I ordered these because I appreciate the idea of using recycled paper, however, these are the absolutely worst paper towels I've ever tried. They are not very absorbent, so you wind up using a lot more than you would with any other brand. And you feel like you are just moving water around. And they are rough.

I was trying to be environmentally friendly, but it is not good for the environment that I had to use three to four paper towels in the place of one.
