Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Paper Towels, Natural, 2-Ply Sheets (Pack of 30)

Customer Review: Gets the job done without killing trees
Summary: 5 Stars

These get the job done just great for me, and with subscribe and save they are significantly cheaper than buying from anywhere else. Also, I love the mission of Seventh Generation and the fact that they create quality products that have less impact on the environment.

As the top reviewer said, be prepared to stash these somewhere, 30 rolls is more than you think. When I lived in an apartment I had to stash them under my bed because I didn't have room anywhere else. That said, it's quite nice to always have paper towels on hand since one box of these things lasts me a year. I think if I didn't have pets they would last even longer.

Customer Review: Not Absorbent Enough
Summary: 2 Stars

These paper towels at first sounded like a great idea, but I have found that they are not that absorbent. More paper towels are used for a clean-up job than what would have to be used on a standard Scott's or Bounty towel. When these towels get wet they become very waterlogged and so their capacity to pick up spilled liquids is very limited.
I was initially intriqued by the thought of helping to spare the environment by using recycled paper towels, but the benefit is probably eliminated when more of the towels have to be used for the same job. Perhaps if this company made the towels in a higher ply this concern could be addressed.

Customer Review: Good enough
Summary: 5 Stars

These paper towels are not quite as soft nor absorbent as Bounty, but they're good enough for every use I've thrown at them. The price through Amazon's Subscribe & Save makes the competitive with the regular brands, with the obvious benefit being that they're made of 100% recycled paper (Bounty, as a comparison, uses 100% virgin fiber).

If your primary concern is the environment, then you will want to consider the effect of shipping 30lbs of paper towels across the country. You're probably best off using reusable rags whenever possible, but when you absolutely need a disposable towel, these work just fine.

Customer Review: Good eco-friendly paper towels
Summary: 5 Stars

These paper towels work well and are environmentally friendly. They are also free of chemicals and dyes which is a plus when I'm heating something up in the microwave and need to cover it or when I'm making french fries or bacon and need to soak up some of the grease. They soak up liquids just fine when I use them for cleaning. They aren`'t very soft, but they aren't very rough either, somewhere in the middle. I'm not one to be picky about things like paper towels so I like them just fine. Also combine them with Amazon Subscribe & Save, and I never run out of paper towels.

Customer Review: Great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've always bought generic or store brand paper towels, myself. I'm sure these don't stack up to a Bounty or a Brawny, but those high end products don't stack up to actual cotton towels, do they?

I mean, you're buying PAPER towels. Amirite? Can I get an 'amen?' Aw-rite!

Anyway, these paper towels are as good as anything I've ever used. If you're like me and you 1. like buying in bulk via amazon prime and 2. you want to expand the market for recycled paper goods then these are for you.

Do it. You won't regret it.
