Customer Review: Worst paper towels I have ever used

We try to use "green" products, particularly non-bleached, as much as possible. I love many other 7th Generation products & had high hopes for these. They are the worst. I have to use 4x the amount of normal paper towels because they are not very absorbent. I joked with my husband that tree bark would be better. I finally got through the case I foolishly ordered and will never use these again. I'm hoping to find another, better green alternative.Customer Review: don't bother

These towels are pitiful. NOT aborbent. Not flexible. Not strong. Like wiping up a spill or cleaning a counter with a post-it. And I only have myself to blame for buying a whole case. Thought I was being earth-friendly. You know what would be more friendly? Use rags. That's what I'm going to do. As to the enormous case of these in my basement: perhaps ebay? I certainly can't donate them. That wouldn't be friendly either...Customer Review: Lasts a looooong time

As some of the reviewers mentioned, these last a long time. Besides the environmental concerns, these are the best paper towels I have purchased for one reason - there are a lot per roll. It seems like I was buying paper towels all the time before. These I have kept for quite a while.
Besides that, I find these are good for cleaning glass since they do not have much lent at all compared to the "fluffy" store kind.
Customer Review: Tree Free - Reduces Lots of Pollution

It may take 2 sheets to blot up as much liquid as Bounty, but it takes zero trees. It creates a market for waste paper which otherwise would be thrown in the garbage. It also saves a ton of water and creates no dioxins like chlorine bleached paper towels do. And dioxins are among the deadliest poisons on the planet. If you care about your children this stuff is a no-brainer. Everytime you purchase it, we all win.Customer Review: Absorbs about 1/2 as much as bounty

These towels are good enough for what I want them for, to spray and wipe down the cat box area. But for spills and to actually absorb they are worthless. I did a test with a bounty towel and the bounty towel was ready for more but this towel was just pushing water around. So its good for some uses and bad for others. So for spray and wipe its perfect, a 5 star. For picking up a spill its a 1 star.
