These bags are great! I don't know why there are all these questionable reviews about the quality of these bags. Granted, I have always purchased the inexpensive kitchen trash bags at Target or wherever, but these are perfectly comparable (or even better quality)! They are more than sufficient for our needs, and I imagine the average household's needs. They work just as they are supposed to, and they are great for the environment. As others have stated, I wouldnt try to overstuff these bags, but then again, I would never overstuff any trash bag not specifically made for heavy duty loads. I have used these bags now for four weeks, each full of a weeks worth of trash, and have had no breakage or tearing problems, nor have any torn when the trash men come to pick it up and throw it in the truck. These bags work pretty well as long as you're not placing heavy items in them. I have three litter boxes that I clean often.Placing the used cat litter in this bag, along with the lighter trash, then trying to pull the bag out of my kitchen trash can to dump it in the outside bin results in it tearing every time. The Glad ForceFlex bags never had this problem.Customer Review: Fine for the lighter items tear far too easily though and forget anything heavy...

These tear far to easily, they hardly even handle my recycling bin at home, and normal garbage is far too much for these bags. Still I plan to make it work until I have used them all up but don't count on them for the anything substantial (in size or weight as both things tend to tear or split open these garbage bags). Good product. Not as heavy as your non eco products, but if your using for regular everyday trash they are fine. I have used with heavy items and as long as there was no sharp items, they worked fine. Give them a try I think you will be pleasantly surprised. And, you will be helping the environment.
