I can never use the yellow ties because they break even before you tie the bag close. Also, if you place anything that protrudes in the bag, it tends to rip through prettily easily. Also, the side seams tend to split too. I like the idea of being green but the products need to work too!Customer Review: 7th Generation tall kitchen bags

These kitchen trash bags are made from recycled material plastic (55%). I incorrectly assumed they were also biodegradeable. After contacting 7th Generation, they are NOT biodegradeable. I like that these bags are recycled and generally love most all of seventh generations products. But these bags just don't deliver. 90% of the bags in the box were sealed together at the top and ripped when trying to open them up to place them in the trash can.Customer Review: ok but atleast its good for our enviroment

The bags are not nearly as good as Hefty but they do what i need it to do. its not wise to overload or put heavy or sharp items. However, I purchase product knowing that I am helping out planet. There is no one else who has a product like this.Customer Review: wimpy

I echo what other reviewers have said, they are weak bags. It seems rather self-defeating to call something this poorly functioning eco-friendly if you have to double bag or use more bags because you can't fill them w/ much.
