Customer Review: Very gentle while clearing acne and cradle cap

We love this stuff. Although the hospital said to only wash newborns a couple of times a week, we have found that this is gentle enough for bathing our baby every day. It actually makes my 2 month old's skin skin softer and has gotten rid of the baby acne on her face. When my baby got cradle cap, we started washing her hair every day, and it cleared up in two washes.
I also used it during my pregnancy when I had to use the bathroom something like 30 times a day. It kept my hands from getting dry. I tried a cheaper baby wash (Johnson and Johnson Moisture Care Baby Wash) but that one did dry out my hands. Now that I have to wash my hands constantly from diapering, I'm sticking with California Baby.

We love this shampoo. It smells great but is not overpowering, and it makes my baby's skin so soft. There's nothing bad in it, either! We're just now to the bottom of the first 17.5 oz. bottle that we've been using every day since we brought DD home - and she's 8.5 months. A little goes a long way with this shampoo. It's a little more expensive per ounce, but when you figure how long the bottle lasts you, it's about the same if not cheaper than other brands. The pump handle is nice, because you can both close the bottle for travel (pump down and twist) as well as get a washcloth and one pump of soap out only using one hand. Great product - and everything else California Baby makes is awesome, too!Customer Review: Absolutely LOVE it!!!

I've been using this on my baby since her belly button fell off and she's almost 5 months old now. There have been times when it ran down her soapy little forehead and gotten right in her eyes - Well, not a flinch, a squint, or a squeal what so ever! It didn't even make her eyes the slightest bit pink or irritated. I just rinsed her eyes with a little clean water and she was as happy as can be. That alone makes it worth the money! Plus a very little goes a long way and it rinses clean easily - There is never any residue. I can also go on and on about how incredibly superior the ingredients are to other "natural" baby washes. I won't use anything other than California Baby products on my baby!Customer Review: Quality, ease of use, and it smells fantastic!

I love California Baby bath products. We've been using them for years (our oldest is now 10). They smell wonderful, they work great, and they last a long time. The shampoo is completely tear free. You don't need to use a lot of the shampoo for it to work well. Best yet, the products are all natural; you don't need a degree in biochemistry to understand the ingredient list.
If you are unfamiliar with the line, be sure to check out the calendula cream, the calming diaper rash cream, and my favorite product, the Overtired and Cranky spritzer (works wonders!).

I took a chance buying this large pump bottle of wash for my baby without smelling it first but I wasn't disappointed. The smell is a pleasant lavender/citrus/chamomile smell - it's not overpowering so it's perfect for baby's sensitive sense of smell - and mom likes it too - I look forward to her baths because of the wonderful aroma and her smiles. The pump bottle is really convenient, too - because everyone knows that moms only have one "usable" arm!
