I've had the Oral Breeze for about 3 weeks. It is a great product, an excellent evolution from pump based irrigators.At first I was reluctant to purchase this item because it meant moving the irrigation process to the shower, and installing it myself. It is so quick and easy to install that a 5 year old could do it. Using it in the shower is now second nature.
It works perfectly. The spray from the head is not as focused as the sink irrigators, but the flow is as strong as you prefer. Although I no longer get the feed back of seeing food particles go down the sink drain, I think that the cleansing is as good if not better than a pump irrigator. Buy it, it's a great innovation!

I'm an adult with braces and I needed something to keep my teeth clean. Regular brushing and flossing doesn't cut it, so I started looking for a oral irrigator (WaterPik or similar). All the other options I found were either much more expensive, messy to use, annoying to clean and refill, etc... This works perfect. It installed in 5 minutes and I now I get my teeth clean every day. You can literally feel and smell the bacteria washing out of your mouth. Sounds gross, I know... but you know it's working and you can see the difference. My gums feel great!
I would recommend having a little shaving mirror in the shower. It makes it a bit easier to get the spots you want to get.

I ran into this product while searching for a new water pik that was neither wimpy nor took up too much counter space; I can't believe I haven't heard of this before! Once you use this, you'll never go back to your old oral irrigator. This thing is REALLY powerful!!! If you've got tender gums, I'd opt for the sensitive gum attachment that they sell. This is much faster and easier than flossing as the on/off lever keeps the shower turned off, so you just poke your head into the shower while blasting your gums and teeth. Installation took five minutes without any help. I love my showerbreeze! My mouth feels like I just got my teeth cleaned (without any gum sensitivity).Customer Review: This is a wonderful device! I have had some gum problems... nothing major, but I've been warned to floss before the gum issues do become major. I have crowded teeth, making flossing a real pain. The hygienist suggested I use one of those major name brand devices. Well, I bought one and it worked in its intended manner. The problem was it was such a hassle to use that I ended up not using it very much.
With this ShowerBreeze product, I am able to clean my gums while relaxing in a nice warm shower - the shower still runs (albeit at lower pressure) even while the OralBreeze does. There is no container to fill, there is no mess to clean up, and it takes up no counter space.

What makes this such a great product is that it will actually get used, since it is right there in the shower where it can conveniently be used, without making a water mess. The first time I used it, it really felt like I had extra space between my teeth (and I do floss several times per week).
As a reminder, don't forget to breath through your nose when using this!
UPDATE 2010-12-05: I noticed that there seemed to be a small leak issue with the diverter valve not fully closing. I contacted the company via email and the customer service was GREAT. They sent me another unit right away. A rare A++ in customer service.
