Customer Reviews of SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System, Plastic Neti Pot With Salt PacketsCustomer Review: So far, so good Summary: 3 Stars
I have had allergies and sinus problems since I was a kid. Everytime my sinuses act up, the fluid goes into my ears and I lose my hearing. So, after having no choice but to work and be deaf at the same time, I had a customer come in and ask me all about my hearing loss and what it is from. (Thank God I have learned to read lips over the years!)During our conversation, she mentioned to me a product called a NetiPot. I had never heard of it before but it sounded like something that MAY work for me!!! She explained how to use it, it's benefits, and her experience with it. So, as soon as I got home from work, I came onto Amazon and ordered it!
I have tried it twice so far and I must say, people take the air they breathe for granted! I could not believe how well I could breathe through my nose. The actual process is a bit uncomfortable, I mean, you do have water going into areas that it normally doesn't lol, but it is worth it when you are done and are able to breathe freely without feeling so stuffy.
I recommend this product to people who, like me, are at the end of their rope with allergies, sinuses, and not being able to breathe well. Just try it! You will see!
Customer Review: A MUST for all sinus sufferers! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought my first Neti Pot about 15 years ago when my ENT doctor recommended it to prepare for sinus surgery. Within 2 weeks, I had clear sinuses for the first time in years and no longer required surgery! Since then, I have had maybe 2 sinus infections!
Unfortunately, my ceramic Neti Pot did not survive a plane trip, and I had to search for an unbreakable replacement. I found the SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System and have now bought them for 6 family members and have recommended them numerous times. They are fantastic for washing the "gunk" out of your sinuses whether caused by allergies or colds. I also use mine after being in a dusty environment to avoid a stuffy head.
I mix my own saline solution and only use about half of the amount recommended, but everyone is a little different on what is most comfortable on the saline concentration and water temperature.
My husband and daughter feel like they are "drowning" when they use theirs (and, thus, avoid using their "neti pots" and get sinus infections), but my sons use theirs all the time (and rarely have sinus problems).
The SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System is FANTASTIC!
Customer Review: HELPED MY SINUS INFECTIONS Summary: 5 Stars
I was at first reluctant like most other people unfamiliar with this product to pour water "through" my nose. I could imagine gagging, choking, etc. It does take some practice (a few days) to get used to doing it properly, but when you do, it is very simple and well worth the results. I had an off and on sinus infection for more than 7 months and was simply tired of the antibiotic cycles, getting rid of it, then it would return. This has allowed me to keep it in check - I an not free of allergy problems and still have some sinus problems but nothing as severe as before and I am hoping that as I use it longer (it has been about 6 weeks now) I can keep the sinus infection away for good. I also have severe allergies and I truly think it has helped some with them, although I still have to take allergy medication, not quite as often or as much. Some days, I can skip it depending on the pollen count, etc. I would recommend this product to anybody who is tired of all the drugs and medication and wants to try something natural that I feel works for me and might help them. I particularly like this plastic pot because it is lightweight and easy to use as well as keep clean.
Customer Review: Instant Relief - Nose no longer feels like ..... Summary: 5 Stars
...... there is 'super glue' in one's nostrils when you press them. Very easy to use and very easy to prepare. Warm tap water - pkg solution - spoon to stir included - no irritation at all. Gentle blowing to finalize clearing and go about your business, even raking leaves.
After using - rinse hot water then stores very compactly on shelf in Linen closet or medicine cabints, ready for the next use. If U use in bathroom. keep Bounty paper towels for blowing nose after use- so very gentle on skin and very absorbant,
Bounty Huge Roll, White, 12 Count
SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System, Unbreakable Neti Pot With Salt Packets
UPDATE: After using 8x times - at first - AM - evening for 4 days - it now only takes one application in evening as needed and no more dry mouth in the mornings from breathing through one's mouth all night. That was amazing relief!
Have a feeling it may help those w/snoring problems also.
Customer Review: Neti pot that comes with this is not the way to go. Summary: 1 Stars
This plastic pot is clumsy and uncomfortable to use - it should have a screw-on cap so it's less likely the contents will spill out as you're maneuvering. Also, the spout should be tapered more like a waffle cone with just the very tip cut off for those of us with smaller nostrils - the raised "weld" where the two halves meet irritates the nostril as you're using it, so much so that I switched to a large "eyedropper" (not turkey baster size, but a six-inch size designed to give liquid medicine to children, sold in drugstores). I simply keep the solution (or distilled water) in a glass so I can place that in the microwave to heat it and then draw it up in the medicinedropper (the hotter I can stand it and the more I bend at the waist, the faster it works so I can blow my nose and clear it). The childrens' medicinedropper is also much smaller, for wrapping up in your bag when traveling - some hotels have a minikitchen, so you can heat up water and get relief, just as if you were at home. I also did myself a favor by reading Chris Martin's book on the paradox of Empty Nose Syndrome, a case of "if I'd only known all this before I had surgery."
