I was skeptical about the neti pot, but I was willing to try anything one wintery season when I was having such a terrible time breathing. I used a nasal spray that was only mildly effective, and it wasn't enough to let drift off to sleep comfortably. I did a little research about how to properly use a neti pot. This is really important. The temperature needs to be a little warm. You shouldn't put too much salt in the water. The salt also needs to be dissolved before you use it (pharmaceutical grade salt dissolves more quickly and doesn't have anti-caking agents that can irritate). There's also a correct posture to use, and it helps to be somewhat relaxed as you breathe through your mouth. I don't use it everyday, but when I do, I feel so much better being able to breathe deeply. It's exhilarating! Here's another tip--don't be in the bathroom with someone who makes you laugh while you're using your neti pot.Customer Review: Great product, amazing results!

I ordered this neti pot to try for relief of my annual spring sinus problems and have yet to use it. My husband, who has suffered with terrible sinus problems his entire life, tried it and won't give it up! Now I have to order another one for myself.
I chose this model because it is dishwasher safe and unbreakable. My initial reaction when I opened the box was how cheap it looked, but it really works (according to my husband) and has held up well to several dishwashings.
My husband was amazed by the immediate results he obtained after using this neti pot just once. He uses it daily now and no longer requires all the prescriptions and nasal sprays he has used for most of his life. If it works so well for him I feel confident it will work well for my mild, by comparison to his, sinus problems.
We are very satisfied with this great product and it's amazing results!

This thing really does provide immense relief when your nose is clogged. I recently went through a 5 day cold, and it didn't seem to help that much the first two days while my nose was constantly running, but towards the end when I was just feeling clogged up, it cleared my nose like a charm.
I've read that for full benefit, you should use a neti pot every few days even when you're not feeling sick. If you use it preventatively, it may prevent symptoms altogether, but I haven't tried that yet.
Don't be scared off if you hate using a neti pot the first time! After that first (sputtering, coughing) try, it gets a lot easier.
The design of this pot is good, but for comfort, it would be nice if the end spout tapered a little more. It can sometimes be a challenge for me to line up the hole with my nostril just right so water doesn't seep out around the edge.

This product definitely makes your breathing excellent. But during the wintertime it may be better to not use this.
I received mine during the winter and although I felt great after using it, I found that my nasal passages were very dry the morning after and hurt. This might be due to the salt that could be left in your nasal passages since you never flush with water afterward.
First time using this it felt as if I was drowning, I guess something in your nose signals that "drowning" message to be sent to your brain so it takes some getting used to. When blowing your nose you must also be very gentle as hard blows will tinker with your ears and make them uncomfortable.
Overall provides great immediate relief BUT temporary and takes 5-10 minutes. Nonetheless it did what it stated it would and did it very well... too bad the effects don't last forever...

I have suffered from chronic sinus infections for years. I was desperate a few weeks ago when I had the 5th sinus infection in a just a few months. I had had misgivings about rinsing saline through my sinus'. I can only say that I wish I had done so years ago. The releif was instant and I feel so much better than I have in a long time. I no longer have the constant heavy feeling over my eyes, my headaches are gone and I can breath. It is a bit uncomfortable the first week or so until you get use to using it but then you do not even think about it anymore. Make sure the water is at body temp (not to hot or to cold) or it can be uncomfortable to use. The added bonus I have noticed is that everyone around me is getting a bad cold and I have yet to come down with it. Using the sinucleanse system has become part of my daily routine.
