Customer Reviews of SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System, Unbreakable Neti Pot With Salt PacketsCustomer Review: gets the job done Summary: 5 StarsFound the unit easy to use. Good starter supply of salts (buy it in bulk after as it is much cheaper than single packets). This thing really works I use it once maybe twice a day and I can breathe out both sides of my nose and my allergies much reduced. No more stuffed up nose or clotting in my sinuses. Surprisingly effective
Customer Review: Neti Pot Review Summary: 5 StarsProbably one of the best purchases I have made in a long while. I saw this on Oprah and decided to give it a shot. My initial reaction on using this Neti pot was gross but make NO Mistake! It cleans out your sinuses and for me made me feel like a new person. Not only could I breathe better but I can sleep better. I started using it once a day in the morning and then I also use it at night usually a half hour before I go to bed. It's a strange feeling when you first use it so follow the directions carefully and remember to breathe out of your mouth (it truly will come out through the other side)! Just put your face parallel to the sink and rotate. Give it a shot - you'll be glad you did!
Customer Review: What a difference! Summary: 5 StarsThis Neti pot is unbreakable so you don't have to worry about it breaking. It seems like it will last a long time.
I have allergies to pollen and dust to name a few and it drives me crazy. When I use the pot and saline, I can breathe much better! It's such a big difference. I should have been using this at least a decade ago.It feels good to know that I have irrigated my sinuses of irritatants too.
Customer Review: Pain! Summary: 2 StarsThe first time I used this was at night, right before bed. Big mistake! When I woke up the next morning, my inner ear felt really painful, and blowing my nose magnified the pain.
Afterwards, I decided to only use it in the daytime. However, I still get small painful sensations in my ears as soon as I blow my nose right after using the neti pot. I hear really loud "scratching" noises deep in my head as I blow my nose, and it takes about thirty minutes for the pain and sounds to go away.
The packaging says that if your Eustachian tubes are larger than normal, you should cease use of the neti pot. I guess the SinuCleanse Nasal Wash system isn't for me!
Customer Review: Simple but amazing Summary: 4 StarsIt's just a piece of plastic and several packets of kosher salt. I saw it in The New York Times (and it mentioned Oprah, of course) and was curious but not curious enough. Then my co-worker got one and encouraged me to get one, too. I have had terrible allergies for the month of April since I was a tiny tot- spring nosebleeds, runny nose, 20 consecutive sneezes, the whole deal. I use off-brand Claritin, which helps but leaves my sinuses extremely dry and painful. I had my co-worker present as I tried it out. She gave me great advice- KEEP EXHALING THROUGH YOUR MOUTH IN SHORT SMALL BURSTS SO THAT YOU ARE NEVER TEMPTED TO INHALE WHILE THE SOLUTION IS GOING THROUGH YOUR NASAL PASSAGES. I had a smooth time of it. Be sure to mix the solution really well because otherwise the last drops of the solution will sting a lot. After you are done, wait before blowing your nose. Let the salt settle in and do its magic. Then blow gently. It's not a cure-all, for sure, but it does help immensely with any pressure, buildup, etc. I'm definitely doing this twice a day until my spring allergies die down.
