This product really works. I also have had a hard time finding it at local retailers and am very happy to have found it here at my favorite retailer - Amazon. However, prior to finding it here, I tried many other products that appeared to be the same, with the same or similar active ingredients, but none of them worked nearly as well as the Skeeter Stik. I do not know what their secret is, but maybe it truly is magic.
Mosquitoes love me, so I keep a few of these around the house (including in my night stand) and keep them in my glove box, suitcase, office and garden shed. Once I tried the Skeeter Stik and realized that I don't have to suffer with the sting and itch of bug bites anymore, I can't stand to be without it. These last a long time and do not seem to lose their efficacy over time - even while spending years in my glove box.
Last but not least, a big thanks to my neighbor George, who noticed my misery and told me he had just thing thing for me, reached into his glove box and gave me my first Skeeter Stik. George, you have made my summers so much more pleasant, and I try to keep a few extras handy to pass along your generosity.
