Customer Review: Good but gets old fast

Who doesn't like a little cookie dough now and then? That's what this flavor of meal bar promises. The difference is when you're sneaking that bit of cookie dough out of the mixing bowl, you're only getting a little bit of it, not making a whole meal out of it. I find myself getting tired of the taste about a 1/4 of the way through and almost have to force myself through the remainder. The other flavor I've tried, oatmeal raisin, is much more palatable for the entire bar. Once I finish up these 12 bars, I doubt I'll be ordering this flavor again.
I usually eat one of these bars for lunch along with a piece of fruit. I also have 2 snacks between lunch and dinner (usually another piece of fruit and an Optima snack bar). They do get me through the day but I'm pretty hungry by the time dinner time comes around. I'm probably going to switch to the "High Protein" variety the next time around as some of those bars have significantly more fiber than the "Optima" ones (9g in the High Protein chocolate chip granola vs. 2g in this particular one) which I think will help reduce my hunger levels later in the day.
