FINALLY A PAIN FREE PRODUCT THAT TAKES THE COARSE SHORT HAIR FROM MY CHIN!!!!!
I have had problems with hair on my chin and lip for about 12 years. I
have done waxing, the creams, the beauty razors, everything. The creams no longer work and the the waxing is too painful, and it actually made the regrowth thicker and coarser. Normally I have stubble the next day.
I followed the directions to the letter and tested it on a patch under my belly but first.
The key is...YOUR SKIN HAS TO BE WASHED THOROUGHLY AND VERY DRY.
Hold your skin taut and DO it in a circular motion. It takes a little while, but my chin is smooth and soft. it took a little longer and more elbow grease on my lip, so I plan to do it in stages but I am convinced.
By the way, the pads are not coarse or sandpaper like, I dont know how it does it but it buffs the hair right off, it doesnt hurt at all.
I will buy this from now on!!!!!!!

In all fairness, I have to say that I did not buy this product on Amazon. However, after reading so many reviews, I got to thinking - "This is sandpaper for your legs . . . " So, you guessed it - I happened to have 400 grit sandpaper at the house and thought I would try that out just to see. I don't have very coarse hair, but was amazed just the same that the sandpaper takes the hair off! I used the circular motion that everyone mentions are directions for the product - a few times one direction and a few times the other, and sure enough the hair comes off. Of course, sandpaper exfoliates your legs as you go (I mean, it IS sandpaper. I have very sensitive skin so I'll see how my legs feel tomorrow but right now they just feel fine. I wish someone had told me this 20 years ago when I was learning how to use a razor on my legs. I could have saved myself a lot of scars. Anyway, for what it's worth, sandpaper works. :)Customer Review: Wasted Money

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. After reading several positive reviews stating how well this product worked, I got suckered in and ordered it. If you use the product as directed in one spot, say on your arm, yes it removes the hair. The problem arises when you try to use it on parts of your body that are not flat. It takes several circles in the same spot with the product to remove the hair and it is easy to scratch your skin if you use too much pressure or go over a boney part of your body too much. I managed to get my legs mostly hair free but it took me at least a half hour, I used three of the hair removal pads (they don't last long at all) and I ended up feeling prickly sooner than I would if I had shaved. I have fine blonde hair and would hate to have to try this with any coarser hair types. The poor results are not worth the time, energy and money! So i was super skeptical when I bought this product, and half-heartedly used it in the car as my husband drove us home. After playing around for 5 min or so with no result i was sure I was robbed. However, I then read the instructions and decided to be more persistent. To my surprise my hair started flying off with amazing efficiency! I haven't shaved for over a year, so the hair was quite visible. After I finished both legs, they were now silk smooth. I used it on my arms for fun, and then tried the small one on my bikini line, with surprisingly great results.
Why this may have worked for me and maybe not you:
1. I have thin body hair that grows very slowly.
2. I hate shaving, and the extra time for smooth away didn't bother me.
3. I am a wuss for pain and this product is 100% painless.

My sister sent me a Smooth Away kit for Christmas. I must say, I was surprised it worked! It was completely pain free, and my legs really do feel smooth!
Drawbacks include:
The pads do not last very long, IMO. (I needed one per lower leg). Supposedly they can work longer if you "wash" the pads, but in my kit, there were no other notes about this (and I don't see how washing it would prolong the life of the pad?). Also, it did not work as well on coarser hair.. at least on the first go-around.
I think that for the price, they really should include more pads, but you can get them in bulk (just the pads) on Ebay, for as much as you can get the product itself.
Over all, this product does what it says it will do. My legs are super smooth, and there was no pain involved. I would recommend it to anybody with an interest in trying it out. :)
