This Seat although not quite like the picture, is extremely well constructed and a pleasure to use. Pop, who is going on 91, and finally became unable to get around well can use this easily. It is comfortable as well as smooth operating. Heavily built, easy to assemble and install. Should hold up nicely. BTW it will easily hold a Very Large Heavy person (me). Well worth the money especially compared to many of the others. Do yourself a favor. Don't!!! buy one of the plastic seats that go over the tub side. Water EVERYWHERE and no stopping it! Always in the way. Get this for even a small bathroom like ours and it's just fine. As stated by someone else, cut the shower curtain to fit over the rails and it's all perfect! No water and easy use. Again Well worth the money!
