Great value. Improve performance by plugging it into an inexpensive, 300 watt, remote hand-held dimmer, available at H.D. etc. Put pad on highest heat level and control heat with your dimmer. Produces continous heat at the level you desire, and is smoothly and immediately adjustable to changing needs.Obviates the need for built-in thermostats.Customer Review: Heats Well

I bought this heating pad for my husband because of certain ailments he has. He was very pleased at how well and quickly it heated and maintained warmth. Most heating pads I had bought in the past did not heat at all too good. Was very pleased to have found this pad and would buy another one for our household or as a gift.Customer Review: Heat pad not to lean on?

Until I got the heat pad, I did not know that it was not designed to lie on or lean against, which I do anyway for my sore back. But it should have had a lower heat setting so that it would not become too hot when I lie on it ot sit against it on a sofa with little room for heat to escape. Hope it wont burn out one day.Customer Review: cold feet ?

Just the ticket for those of us who find ourselves with cold feet. I turn mine on low while watching TV. Makes a cozy night at home even cozier. It is also great to tuck the heating pad in the lower part of the bed near bedtime. It is wonderful to climb into bed and find a toasty spot waiting for your feet.Customer Review: I too love this, no auto shut off!

I use these for new born pups, older dogs, etc. The auto shut off is not desirable in that instance, as another reviewer stated. I very much dislike the auto shut off pads and will not buy them. It is getting harder to find them without that feature. This is a good, inexpensive and durable product.
