OK, so the alarm is not as loud as I thought it would be but the ring is just obnoxious enough to wake my husband (who won't wake up to anything.) If you purchase I would definately get the vibration portion, I place this between the mattress and box spring and this is all I need to wake me and it's much nicer than an alarm going off full blast in my ear! Also, my husband puts the vibrating part in our night stand drawer and it is almost as obnoxious as the buzzer but it wakes him up and keeps me from getting calls @ work from daycare that our children need picked up! (He's a 3rd shifter) Highly recommend this product!Customer Review: Gets the job done

The alarm clock is reliable and gets the job done. It shakes and it turns on lights either with a pulse or with a steady flow. A high pitch sound is also an option.
However, the snooze time is fixed at 9 minutes and not adjustable. And sometimes the LED display flickers randomly (power surge?). Sometimes the vibrator gets warm after lots of snoozes. Moreover, only one alarm time can be set and no dual alarm times are allowed. This was the only one that I know that can wake you up by both light and vibration.
All in all, the alarm clock does what it's supposed to do.

Great loudness level - bed shaker works wonders! I especially like the plug-in for my bedside lamp
ONE HUGE DRAWBACK - I cannot leave this clock plugged in all the time! Each time I plug it in, I have to reset it!
Reason being: this clock messes with my cell phone (a motorola phone) and whenever my cellphone is charging and this clock is plugged in - the clock's alarm will just keep going off!!! Really annoying drawback, now I am back to my regular alarm clock and whenever I have something especially important I will plug this one in for good measure.

This alarm clock has no indicator light or hard-switch to tell you whether the alarm is set or not. I had it for three weeks, it worked maybe twice, and now it's in thousands and thousands of pieces, because I was two hours late to get my father at the airport today. Awesome. What a great use of my $70! I hope the people who designed this die terribly painful slow deaths, and subsequently burn in hell.
FYI, I'm giving this alarm clock ZERO STARS. Unfortunately, amazon is forcing me, against my will, to give it one star, which it in no way deserves.

If this clock did not have an "alarm off" near the snooze alarm I'd rate it a five. It does not need this feature because there is a switch on the side that accomplishes the same. Occaisionally, I finally figured out, I was hitting this small button while fumbling for the snooze button and thus missing out on being awake at the correct time. Not deaf -just a.m. impaired. Also, after one time knocking it on the floor the light feature didn't work anymore. Since I'd had it for a while by that time, I was philosophical.
