Customer Review: Powerful alarm but does not keep time

The alarm in this clock is VERY loud and the bed vibrator also VERY effective. It will wake up the dead, no problem there, however, physically it is cheaply made and worst of all it drops time. This is a real problem because if the clock does not carry the correct time, it will not wake you up when you want, which defeats the purpose for buying such a powerful alarm in the first place. I still use it because the alarm is so powerful but I have to continually try and figure out the difference between the clock's time and what the real time will be and then set it. Also, be very careful to always remember to select either the AM or PM when setting the alarm, otherwise this will cause you a lot of grief.Customer Review: Mission Accomplished!

I have tried for years to find an alarm clock to wake my son up.He is now in college and told me he was using 3 alarms to wake up. He said the alarm on this clock was very annoying, which was music for my ears, and since he sleeps on his stomach he found it more helpful to put the vibrating disc under his chest or shoulder and it startles him awake.
I bought a second one for my husband so he would quit complaining about my snoring. He now sleeps with earplugs and the vibrating disc under his pillow and the audio alarm off so it will not wake me up. This clock has been what my family has needed for years.
It does appear to be made cheaply but do not let it fool you, it gets the job done.
Customer Review: Mom's Christmas present. She loves it!

Mom is 90 years old and she has a hard time to wake up when she has to go to appointments in the morning. She said she would stay awake all night so that she would be awake in the morning.
She hears NOTHING when her hearing aides are taken out at night. She is still able to live alone and does very well for herself.
She don't use the loud alarm for she is in a 4 plex and it would probably wake everyone up if she did. She uses the vibrator and it works great. She just puts it under her pillow and there is no problem.
The only problem she says is when she forgets to set it.
It was the best present she said that she got for Christmas.

Within two days the bed shaker would begin shaking randomly and I returned the clock. Also, the base stand is very flimsy and the clock easily tips over when you try to shut it off. Maybe the point is to get you out of bed, clear your eyes and look for the off button because if you hit it with your eyes closed it will tip over.
This is my second attempt at this brand and both of them have been very poor quality. The first clock didn't last a month when the buzzer broke and was barely the same volume as a clock half its price.
The clock is a great idea and worked great before it broke. With this price I expect better so after two tries I have given up of this brand.

This alarm clock will defiantly wake the hardest sleeper on the planet. I purchased this for my husband mostly because I thought the vibrater would be a better alternative to the annoying "beep, beep". The vibrater is powerful to the point of extreme. We never tried it, but I think you would probably pee your pants and jump out of bed every morning! The main reason we sent it back was because of the large digital display. My hubby is blind as a bat and he could read the digital display, but we could also read the newspaper from the glow. If you are a hard sleeper and a night light doesn't bother you, then this is a great purchase. If not, keep on searching!
