This alarm clock I thought was kind of expensive for what I wanted, but my mind has changed around on that thought. With it's earthquaking and bed shaking power and the extremely loud and annoying alarm tone that you can set yourself, this alarm clock is sure to wake you! The bed shaker does not just vibrate, it pulses with the energy of lightning under your bed or pillow like an earthquake. This alarm isn't just loud, it's louder than a horn! Especially, when you can change the tone to a very sharp note or a very low note. I like the fact that this alarm clock is customizable. You can have just the shaker going off, you can have just the tone, or you can have both. You can adjust the alarm tone from low to a very sharp high. You can put the bed shaker wherever you want so that it wakes you.
HERE IS WHAT I DID FOR SUPER WAKING UP:
- put the bed shaker in my pants (this can sometimes lead to extreme pleasure, haha)
- I bought the Sonic Boom 15 ft extention cord for the bed shaker and the alarm clock is about 10 feet away from my bed all the way on the other side of my room
- I have to alarm volume as high as it can go to a very high tone
- I have to get up to turn it off or in my case, I hit snooze just incase I might find myself going back into my bed...
THIS IS ACTUALLY VERY ANNOYING SO YOU WILL WAKE UP!
The reason I rated it four stars is because the bed shaker extention cord is bought seperately. It's not THAT short to begin with it's about 3 ft long, but it's nice to get to where you need to get yourself out of bed to turn the alarm off.

It's for the hearing impaired.
It's expensive, but it works. It shakes me awake, but I snooze it till I feel like waking up just like any alarm clock. The snooze button is really small, but it has a little bum on it that sets it apart.
Setup is easy, but I wish it had more than only 1 alarm for the price.
The boomer must be under your head to really get you up, otherwise you won't really be irritated to move. This is one of the reason's why you hear about people sowing a little pocket in their pillow's for it. That and because the little bugger likes to move while it's booming. Nobody likes to reach under their bed for it, well at least I don't.
It has the potential of being very loud. I currently dorm on campus, and we have thin walls. With that in mind, from the 1-10 buzz volume, I have mine set on 3. There's an analog nob to set the tone of the buzzer as well. This can be convenient if you easily get used to your alarm tone, as you can change the frequency.
No FM/AM radio option what so ever.
Takes a 9V battery for backup power in case the lights ever go out. There is also a switch behind the 9V battery to switch from the default 60Hz to 50Hz.
You can switch the LED time to shine bright or low. (2 options only)
It has the option to switch between 24 hr (Military) time and 12 hr time.

Customer Review: A+ Alarm. Simple and Effective

Simple design.
6 Buttons for "off alarm", "snooze", "time set", "alarm set", "Hour", and "minute".
2 dials: 1 dial for buzzer volume one other for "tuning", which simply adjusts the pitch of the buzzer tone.
2 switches for high/low light dimmer, and 1 main switch for off/buzzer/vibrate/buzzer&vibrate alarm features. A total of "10 adjustments" buttons, dials, or switches.
Could be a bit simpler, but the only junk switch you don't need is tuning. Compared to other alarm clocks wrough with as much junky and over-bloatd features as a gas-guzzling suv, this product takes the cake for being an exceptionally intuitive product. The buzzer tone seriously sounds like a car alarm. I set the alarm to test it, forgot about it, and thought it was some kind of huge truck backing up outside. It took me a good 20 seconds or so to realize that it was the buzzer on the alarm! Needless to say, the alarm tone REALLy gets you up. Combine that with the vibrating component, and well, you could be in a coma and this thing will bring you out of stupor into consciousness. the vibrating attachment works well. It kind of zaps me to alertness and it's compact as a traveling bonus. This is an a+ product.
It kind or reminds me of an odd gatchet that I'd design, actually. One afterthought is that it might be nice to have a radio feature, but, then again, waking up to the dolcett tones of radio station isn't the purpose of this product. It's purpose is to acoustically and kinesthetically WAKE YOU UP! And it definitely does that. The price is reasonable, too.

If you're looking for a unique alarm clock that is loud and vibrates your mattress, then you have limited options. The alarm clock performs well, and many others have discussed its positive attributes. Therefore, I'll just list a few issues that I noticed.
First, the included power adapter is only for 120V/60Hz. The description lists this item as being fully 240V/50Hz compatible, which is important to me as I'm studying abroad and this was mailed from America. While the clock itself has a 60Hz/50Hz selector switch for proper time keeping, the included transformer is only for 120V and outputs 9V AC (yes, AC not DC). This isn't the biggest issue as I bought a small 240V-120V transformer, but it doubles the cost to use it if you're on a 240V system (which is most of the world).
Second, the construction feels very cheap. It weighs nothing, and the 9V backup battery is loose in it's compartment so it feels as if it will break when moved (you just feel a heavy 'clunk' inside it).
Third, the included transformer plug is very loose - just moving the clock made it fall out. Since many people rely on their alarm clock, this is a pretty big issue. I imagine knocking it over in the morning looking for the snooze button only to accidentally unplug it.
Fourth, the snooze button is tiny and shaped exactly like the other buttons. This means you need to be awake enough to make sure you press snooze, and not Alarm Off.
Fifth, the alarm tone is a high, steady tone - no beeping, etc.

God knows I am a heavy sleeper, and the only way I could get up from bed was if someone physically shake me. A fire alarm would go off and I would still be sleeping, and even if I woke up, it would be a matter of second before I went back to sleep. Therefore, I searched for other ways to wake me up in the morning and stay awake. And this is how I found this alarm clock. To make a long story short, the vibrator is strong enough under my pillow to wake me up, but not in a bothersome and noisy way. Instead, it feels like a massage so I don't have to hurry up, turn the alarm clock off and spontaneously go back to sleep again. Instead, I can lie on the bed while the vibrator wakes me up little by little. And the best part is that the vibrator is not very noisy under the pillow so it does not bother anybody else sleeping. I would hate it when I had to wake up in the morning and turn off the alarm because I was more concerned about bothering the neighbors with the noise. Of course, the alarm does have a noise alarm feature installed, which is quite louder than the average alarm clock, and the option of putting the vibrator on a rough surface to make even louder noises still applies. The only thing that I can think of that would have made this alarm clock even better was if it had a radio integrated in it like many regular alarms do. But, I see that this alarm was more focused on waking their owners than anything else, which is why I bought it, and I am very satisfied with it.
