Well I'm 16 years old and the hardest thing to do every day is wake up and get to school. I had a "regular" alarm clock for a long time which did absolutely nothing. I then decided that, eventually, I may NEED to get up on my own! I scoured the internet and, of course, Amazon.com had what I wanted (at the cheapest price after doing research).
This clock does exactly what it says; Set the alarm for any time and the buzzer will "shake" your bed and the very loud alarm will scream you awake! You can set whether or not you want the buzzer and the alarm to go off, just the buzzer, or just the alarm. You can also adjust the tone and volume of the alarm, which I thought was cool. The big button along the top is your sleep, the 2 rollers on the right are for the volume and tone, and the 2 sliders on the left are to select what you want to go off and the brightness of the clock display. Everything works great, it's easy, it's fast, and, most importantly, it wakes you up! No matter who you are, I really REALLY doubt you can sleep through this.
Some cons would be it is indeed a *very* simple product. There is only 1 alarm as opposed to the seemingly new norm of 2 or more. IT DOES NOT HAVE A RADIO. Not that you really need it for a device like this. When they made it they had one concept in their mind: Wake people up. No fancies, just wake them up! Which works...
Now after about a week I started just hitting the switch as soon as it went off and drift swiftly back to sleep. So I suggest after that first week put the clock somewhere out of reach so you have to get up to turn it off. It will still wake you up.
The cord for the shaker is nice and long, and the shaker itself rocks. It's very small but shakes like crazy! If you've ever sat in one of those vibrating chairs (not a massage chair with the rollers, but one that shakes very rapidly and violently) it's like one of those shrunk down into one tiny little ovul container.
Overall a very good product! I haven't had it for a really long time now so I'm rather curious as to how long it will last.

I recently bought this product Sonic Boom. I was told by it from a fellow co - worker that received the alarm for xmas.. ( He loves it ).. Long story short.. ITS GREAT. Ive had mine for about 2 weeks..Since then I HAVE BEEN GETTING TO WORK ON TIME AND MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN UP AND ON TIME TO CATCH THE SCHOOL BUS. i AM a SOUND SLEEPER.. REALLY AM- TRUST ME. i USED TO SET 2 LOUD ALARMS, PLUS MY 2 ALARMS ON MY CELL PHONE AND STILL SLEEP RIGHT ON IN. I GOT TIRED OF BEING LATE FOR WORK. Now im always on time,, gotta stay away from the snooze - which so far i only touched once.. THE VIBRATOR IS EXCELLENT -- I PLACE MINE BETWEEN MY PILLOWS.. 4 me - i think thats the key to waking me.. so far its GREAT. lOVE IT. I HAVE READ REVEIWS AND im really hoping it holds up and continues workin . there are some not so good reveiws.. BUT yeah give it a try.. it is worth your $$.. thiking on buying my daughter her own. i actually set it in her room tonight ( im OFF work tomorrow) and dont WANT to wake up early in the morning.. So well see.She wouldnt let me place the vibrator under her pillow. mabye ill place it there while she sleeps.. Try it out... Sonic BOOOMMM .. ps- it is a annoying loud , but not super dupper LOUD.. I bought the Sonic Bomb alarm clock with bed shaker in hopes it would wake me up in the morning. It does. The bed shaker can be used with or without the alarm. The alarm has a variable tone and volume control. I love it. I would recommend it to any deep sleeper!Customer Review: Waking the dead...

Seriously, if this clock does not wake you up see your doctor. Better yet, a mortician cause you must be dead. If the blaring noise doesn't have you falling out of the bed then the jack-hammer vibration under the pillow or mattress will. I bought this alarm clock for my daughter who could sleep through anything and it works like magic. First time in her life she's making it to school on time. I just got the alarm 2 days back and let me tell you what..its the best alarm for heavy sleepers.
The sound has to wake you up and the vibrator is amazing if you put it on your bed. My money is well spend on this item.
I recommend to all heavy sleepers out there who dont want to be late to their school or office.
I wish he had given the batteries too for the price but I guess thats OK.
