Yeah I just recieved my Sweetheart sonic boom alarm clock and it actually came 2 days early(yeah) and was right on time since I have to work midnights tonight(Yuck).
Anyway, I plugged it in and placed the bed vibrating thing between my matress and box spring and went to sleep. I awoke thinking either the house was falling down or someone literally was shaking me! Considering I live a lone and am a little bit of a scardy cat, I dont know If I want to wake up terrorfied! But the goal was accomplished I was awaken all adrenalin rushed and frazzled but I made it to work .....early.
The sweetheart clock look is cute but the plastic seems cheap but how much damage does an alarm clock need to take? The controls are small which is good that forces u to get up, turn on a light to turn it off. the display is bright but has a dimmer switch and it flashes when the alarm goes off. I have never owned an alarm clock that I actually used, since I am traditionally a light sleeper but now with my hectic lifestyle and the deep sleep deprived naps I take for rest I need something like this to wake up. I think they are a great price on amazon and they work and its cute. Doesnt get better then that does it!

My 17 year old daughter was invited to attend her last two years of high school away from home. She is incredibly smart and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity for her. The only problem was, being away from home and having nobody to make her get up, she was constantly oversleeping! We shopped for all sorts of alarm clocks for her, always buying the one that was advertised as being the loudest. After her second detention for missing classes and/or being tardy I decided I had to find something that actually would wake her up. Well, I found it. She has now had this alarm clock for a little over a month and has not overslept once!! She said the first couple of days it scared her half to death, but this isn't one of those alarms that just buzz and she never hears. She puts the part that vibrates under her pillow because putting it under the mattress isn't an option with the way the dorm bed is constructed. I highly recommend this product to ANYONE who has a child like mine who doesn't hear traditional alarm clocks!! One less worry for me as a Mother having a child living away from home.Customer Review: Can you say...Headache?

First off... I don't recommend putting the bed shaker under your PILLOW...you will wake up with a giant Headache! (Trust me..I know...I kept it under my pillow for a few days until i realized that's why i had a horrible headache for 2 days in a row) I'd say, put it under your mattress, or under your sheet...somewhere else..except your head. I bought this alarm, and it annoys the hell out of me...which is a GOOD THING. I love it. I have a really hard time waking up, and i haven't been late to work since i bought it! The colors are really cool, and so are the flashing lights. It's cute and is way girly-er than my old black alarm clock. All of the tones you can put it on (I think there are 5 different ones) range from annoying......to annoying-er. The bed shaker really does work..and it really does shake. My dog hates this thing....and it wakes him up too! haha. I wish it would be a little louder. I have it on full blast, and i wish it were louder. I would recommend this alarm clock to anyone like me, who has a really hard time waking up in the morning!!Customer Review: Best ever alarm clock!

I LOVE this alarm clock. Okay, first off, let me say that no, I'm not deaf, but when I sleep, I sleep like the dead. A regular alarm will NOT wake me. With a regular alarm, I'll get up, turn it off, go back to sleep, and have no memory whatsoever of even leaving my bed. :o)
This little peach of a clock... there's no tuning it out! I have it on the lower volume setting... and let me tell you, my neighbors know what time I get up. That in combination with the bed shaker is fantastic. The bed shaker really wakes me up the best, I think. It's not horribly irritating, but it's enough so that my body knows "hey, we have to actually wake up now!"
Overall, if you're hard to wake up, this is a great alarm clock for you! Not to mention, how cute is this little clock, am I right?!
This is hands down the best alarm clock I've had, and well worth the $36 I spent on it. It's been working great for months, I haven't had a single problem! I would definitely buy it again!

I have a really hard time waking up to a conventional alarm clock, regardless of if I get my 8 hours of sleep. I have been late to work and classes due to sleeping through the alarm or turning it off in my sleep. With the sonic boom alarm clock, I don't even need the sound to wake up. The vibration wakes me up right away and the snooze button on the sweetheart version is a little tough to find in the half-asleep stage so I have to be awake to snooze it or turn it off. It is a bit lightweight but for me it serves its purpose. The vibration apparatus just plugs into the alarm clock (leaving the option of using it or not), and it has a pretty decent sized cord (well, maybe 3-4 ft). The beeping option is possible to be a range of different pitches and volumes to fit your needs, including very loud and high pitched. I highly recommend this product for people who have a hard time waking up to conventional alarm clocks.
