Loud enough to wake up the entire neighborhood at is maximum volume, this can be adjusted downward based on needs. I purchased it for my parents and they have had no problem setting the time and alarm and find the clock to be very effective. The vibrating attachment is surprisingly powerful (too jarring for them to use on a daily basis) and provides a great back-up to the auditory alarm.Customer Review: Great little girl Alarm

Bought it for my 9 year old who has tough time getting going. The alarm is too much! Way too loud. But the vibrating alternative is great-wakes her without overwhelming her. She likes the colorful numbers and they give off a comforting glow. It is bigger than I expected but she likes the heart shape, color and 'jeweled' contol buttons, which she can use herself very easily.Customer Review: UPDATE do not use if

I purchased this alarm clock for a family member who could not wake up after dozens of alarm clocks I highly recommend this product for someone who has trouble waking up. I have to say this do not use this if you have seizure disorders the strobe light caused a seizure when my family member did not have one in well over 7 yrs.Customer Review: Nice concept, but faulty.

The concept of this alarm clock is a great idea. The exterior of the product was attractively styled too. HOWEVER, I received a defective clock. The minute hand would not change the time on the clock. So I could not even set the time or alarm on this clock. This is the BEST product, it actually works and as an added bonus it cuts down on morning surliness (even among the hormonally challanged). I have no doubt in my mind that this alarm clock will save the sanity of moms everywhere and will probably save a few marraiges too!!
