This unit seemed to be really nice. Worked fine for two days, but then it quit. Still gets power, but it's otherwise frozen. Can't reset because the reset button doesn't seem to exist, although they claim there is one. Besides, you use this as an alarm clock, do you really trust it if it's going to go belly up whenever the heck it wants.? Heck no. Back this one goes. Return to sender. A few hours after I plugged it in, it got warm and the display quit working. I returned it for a refund. Also, if you frequently change your alarm time you will find it annoying. You can only change the time by a single button that moves the time forward, and far too slowly. Thus, if you need to move the time back 10 or 15 minutes you have to hold it down and wait for it to come all the way around.Customer Review: fantastic sleep aid

Although I wanted the S-3000 (super model) I settled for the S-650
because it was shipping. I am quite pleased. The sound coming from the speaker on the unit is pretty good quality. I use mine with a pillow speaker.
I am an insomniac due to tinnitus, BPH, and houshold noises. It does help with my tinnitus and noises and just makes it pleasant to go to sleep hearing tranquil sounds.

The sounds are wonderful! I plug in my earphone & enjoy while I'm reading and my husband is watching TV. My granddaughter wanted to hear the sounds the other day. She enjoyed them all, and fell asleep after a minute of 'sleep surf'! My grandson likes the sounds, too, but asks me to turn it off when he starts to get drowzy. I've tried other sound machines and this is definitely the best.Customer Review: Decent investment

I enjoy this sound system. I wouldn't say that the natural sounds are as authentic as one might hope. If all you need is 90 minutes of peace before dozing off, this works great. However if you really want to lose yourself in natural sounds, I don't think this will suffice. I catch myself too easily detecting the looping point. It's probably just me, but it's too obvious and distracting.
