Customer Reviews of Standers BedCaneCustomer Review: Standers Bedcane Summary: 4 Stars
I selected this item to help my parent manuver while in bed(turn onto side), to get in and out of bed more easily, and to sit and stand at the bedside with solid support. I easily removed a bedside pocket attached to the handle, which I had thought would be helpful, but was in the way of grabbing the "handle" of theStanders BedCane cane.
Customer Review: Helpful product Summary: 4 Stars
Serves the purpose of providing a handhold and some support to turn or sit up. I like the rounded, compact design the product seems very strong and durable. The cane does have a slight movement but it does not detract from using it. We bought for our guest bed for visiting sister who has cerebral palsy, weighs about 200 lbs. and needs assistance getting into and out of bed. Have used it for 2 weeks now and I would recommend.
Customer Review: Great Post-Surgery Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my spouse after spinal fusion surgery. It really helped the transition from the hospital, where there were grab bars on the bed to assist with sitting up, to home. It is very stable and the cover with pockets was great for pills, phone, etc. that would have required twisting to reach on a bedside table. She is still using it 2 months after surgery, it may become permanent.
Customer Review: Standers bed cane Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this device to help my parent get up and out of bed. She has parkinsons and very little arm and leg strength. I thought that it would help her to pull herself up in bed as well as to stand up when getting out. Her strength is so poor that it did her no good at all. I would certainly recommend it for anyone who is strong enough to use it. In my parents case it is useless....
Customer Review: excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
tried to make one with a piece of plywood and worked so so. what makes the difference and justifies the cost is both, the straps and stop to anchor it so will not move and second the pockets on the sides, very helpful to have small things handy and help a handicap person not having to reach for the night table.
Very good design.
expensive but worth it,set it and forget it
