I've been using stevia powder since February 2010. I first bought a 100-pack box of Nature's Bounty stevia powder at Kroger. I liked it, but it had sort of a harsh taste. I found Stevita on Amazon and bought this product along with two of the 50-pack boxes. Stevita has a much more pleasant taste that the Nature's Bounty one. I use Stevita all the time in my coffee and hot tea. And since this Stevita product has a shaker top, I can sprinkle some on my cereal in the morning. With Stevita, I have cut down big time on my consumption of aspartame, sucralose, processed white sugar, and high-fructose corn syrup. I'm not a diabetic, but diabetes runs in the family so I thought I'd take some preventative steps to ensure that I don't get diabetes. In fact, Stevita is so sweet that I can just eat a packet by itself with no harsh taste associated with other stevia products. And I'm one who does NOT consider Truvia and PureVia as stevia products. Truvia and PureVia are erythitol product with a miniscule amount of chemically-extracted Reb-A. Unlike Truvia and PureVia, Stevita does not cause me any gastrointestinal discomfort, especially the dreaded "anal leakage" people have reported with Truvia and PureVia. You can't go wrong with Stevita!
