I purchased this pad, not from Amazon, so this review is strictly for this heating pad. It constantly turns off with f1 or f2 errors for no reason. This is not meant for heavy use, though it is expensive and seems to advertise as such. This is simply for a light user who may suffer from an occasional ache. For someone who uses a heating pad frequently look for a more reliable style. I thought Sunbeam was a good brand, but I think they are better with the flat rectangle styles. I'm not sure if they bit off too much because this style is too feature rich, but all of those things make it very limiting as a heating pad, instead of more flexible. It wraps great across the neck and upper back which is why I bought it, but you have to set it to High in order to get any heat at all, so the 1-7 heating settings are useless. The auto shut off is nice, but if do select a 2 or 4 hour auto shut off, then expect to have to unplug the unit before you use it again because you will get a f1 shut off error. So frustrating. I want something I can plug in and forget about and use it on a regular basis when I need it and this is not it. It looks high maintenance and trust me it is, avoid it, if you need a work horse type heating pad. Nice try Sunbeam, but you released this product with too many bugs. You should have recalled it by now. Had I not been desperate I would have gotten a refund. I'm online today to buy something else, because after fighting with it for the last 4 hours and getting only an hour of heat due to it shutting down in error, I have had enough. Te other review that said this is a high priced pice of junk, was unfortunately right. I was in desparate need and this was the best they had in teh store at the time and on sale so I boaght it, but I'm doing my research now. I hope by writing this review I can help others avoid the mistake I made, or at least be informed when they buy the product. It's not unbearable to use, but not for someone who needs a dependable heating pad for long periods of time. It's been more of a headache to own this heating pad.
