This modestly-priced heating pad is a very good value. It is a useful size, heats up quickly, and has easy-to-use controls. I've paid more for heating pads that were not as good as this one. I purchased two of these heating pads recently and am quite pleased. I like that there is no automatic shutoff. I also like that the heating pad gets sufficiently warm. Many of the more expensive heating pads that I bought recently never really got warm enough to meet my needs and would automatically shut off after a few hours.Customer Review: Whatever happened to the good old fashioned heating pads?

What a disappointment -- this has lasted me through a dozen uses and now it barely heats at all. The plastic cover makes it hard to contour to the affected area, which in this case is my arm. I thought Sunbeam was a reputable company, but this is dreadful. Now I'm looking for a heating pad that's NOT made by Sunbeam.Customer Review: Great cat bed warmer...but not for me!

Bought this pad along with another brand. The arthritic control is a good sounding hype; bit it's really just a bigger control unit that is not any larger or easier to use than other brands. Worse...the unit at the highest setting doesn't get warm enough to help my arthritis. But it's warm enough for my cat.Customer Review: A standard heating pad

This particular heating pad was exactly what we were looking for. One that could be left on forever, had a choice of low to high heat, no fantastic computer controlled heating switch. It works so well and our Fluffy (kitty) thanks you for carrying such a simplistic heating pad. 5 stars to you.
