I had a bad experience with a digital scale for which I had paid ~$50 and that broke down just after a couple of months and I was not ready to spend that much money for another digital one. After reading the reviews for this one and looking at the price (main factor), I went with this. First off, I agree with some other reviewers that it does not give an accurate result and that after using it for few days the pointer goes a little off from the "0" marker. But neither one is a deal breaker. It's really easy to set the pointer back to 0 marker and once you know how much off the scale is showing (which is always a constant), you can always add (or subtract, whichever the case is) that number from the value the scale is showing, you can get your accurate weight. Overall, this is an OK product.
