The price is right. I needed a very compact no frills scale for a low low price. and this fits the bill exactly.
It's not very accurate, and I can make the scale go up to 5 lbs heavy just by shifting my weight to my heels instead of standing evenly on my feet. That being said, I don't need to be terribly accurate, I just need a range, and I knew it was a "you get was you pay for" situation and I am not disappointed. I does what it needs to do fine enough for me.
Don't expect something that will give you a reading to the nearest .01lb or even to the nearest lb at that.

I did not want anymore digital scales with fancy ways of weighing oneself. I just wanted a scale that easily pointed to my weight. This is a dandy little scale. First of all, I have a very small bathroom, and this scale just fits your feet and fits nicely in a small space. In fact, my mom, who also has small bathrooms, asked me to order her one. I know this scale is accurate as its weight matched half-pound per half-pound the scale at my doctor's office on the same day. I love my little scale and would recommend it to anyone who is sick of scales having whoops and hollers.Customer Review: It measures my weight - and my dogs...

It works OK but, you might not want to use it for scientific measurements.
It tells me that I weigh within 5lbs of what the doctor's office says but, then again, who's scale is more accurate?
[I weigh 130lb at home, I'm 135 an hour later at Doc's. 132 at home, 137 at Doc's]
It's small and keeps out of the way. If you have big feet, they'll creep over the edges. If you weigh a lot, it will show you a bigger number...
I think it stops at 250lbs. I don't remember but, I told my friend Chris that he can't step on it.

I got this because,I did not want something high tech and than break down on me.I am losing weight and I track it.I don't need some high rank device to do so.If your looking for something simple and it works for YEARS..get it.
NO BS,AND NO BATTRIES needed.
all you need is keep track of your OWN weight and put on zero each time..other than that..NO complaints..I love amazon I ordered 3 days and 2 days later got it.
I went to walgreens and could not find it so,had to order it online.

For the price, this scale is good enough. I find that it has issues staying correctly tared and the needle is never on the zero. Usually I see how many points its off by and then subtract that from my weight when I step on it, but in the last few days (I weigh almost daily and I've had this about 5 months), I noticed my weight jumping 2 and 3 pounds, so I weighed on a digital scale and found that my home scale is having some issues. It's not a bad scale, but it's definitely cheap and not something that is going to last for years.
